  Monday 3rd of July 2017 and my alarm went off at 5 but I stayed in bed until 5 thirty when my second alarm went off. The car will come to pick me up at 9 o'clock and my flight is at 13:20. Two hours from here to KLIA, Kuala Lumpur’s International. So I have plenty time and I enjoy my good morning tea. I was at the entrance at 9 o'clock, well, 10 minutes before and I spotted a beautiful Crimson-winged Woodpecker. The bird disappeared and I only got a very poor picture. Later on I saw the bird flying across the area in front of the hotel. I went to look for the bird, but I never saw the bird again. My driver was a few minutes late and by then I had already investigated the option for a hotel car. But that was not necessary and we took off towards KLIA leaving Resorts World Genting - Awana Hotel behind.  Crimson-winged Woodpecker

We made it to the airport in less than 2 hours and it had been a nice ride. No incidents! We even had time to stop for the bathroom. Thai Airways check-in was open and I was soon on the way to immigration. I spent about 3 minutes at the immigration and then I had to go by train to the other terminal. Passing immigration and I saw an Old Town White Coffee place. I was surprised, at least at the Old Town White Coffee I was the quality was not good enough for any international airport.  Immigration

 Thai Airways lounge in Kuala Lumpur
 I had about 2 hours to kill in Thai Airways lounge. They had not really opened when I arrived. They prepared the food and I had some spaghetti that didn't tasted so good. But a few soda waters and playing internet so the time turned fast. I was informed about a gate change when I left the lounge, and of course, the gate furthest away from the lounge. But it was not far and I was soon at the security check at the gate. And as no surprise, boarding was late. It is not like in Japan, 1 minute before boarding time. A PA message: - BOARDING WILL BE LATE! I soil myself, thinking NO! - LATE BY 3 MINUTES AND WE WILL START BOARDING IN 3 MINUTES  Walking to the gate

I killed time playing internet and by the time it was time to board I was bored with internet. We were soon air borne and I skipped the dinner. Only tea and I watched some video and we were soon approaching Suvarnabhumi International. I had enjoyed the flight as much as it possible to enjoy a flight. And it was not so long to walk to the immigration.  Not long to the immigration

I have never seen so much people at the immigration before, luckily enough, I had a fast lane ticket and it was empty. So I was in a taxi 15 minutes after arrival on the way home. Well, seems like the holiday is coming to an end. They called and asked if I could join Rosa Mærsk on Teneriffa. Yes, I need money so I'm of to Rosa Mærsk, click HERE to see how that turns out.
