Friday 1st of June 2018 and we completed discharging at 11:06 and the Pilot will come on board at 13:00. We completed the paper work and our PTT Representative was going home today. He have been on board for 14 (FOURTEEN) years!!!! So he take the opportunity to go home for a night or two when we're anchored.
We will load at Bongkot on the 4th of June and we will be there at 6 o'clock in the morning so we will leave Map Ta Phut, มาบตาพุด 6 o'clock in the morning on the 3rd of June.
In a good mood, soon time to go home
He is ready to go home
Our 2nd Officer studied my cargo plan and he told me that he would do the same when he became a Chief Officer. He asked if he could copy my documents and I told him about the first time I came to Maersk. Joining Maersk Cassandra in Korea and I found some documents that I recognised. And yes, it was my cargo plan.
We completed paper work and the Surveyor, Loading Master and PTT Representative left 5 minutes before 12 o'clock and I went for lunch.
A quick lunch and I went to my cabin to spend some time with a MAX until the Pilot will come on board. I was sippin' on my drink when I heard that the Pilot was delayed by 10 to 15 minutes. A wee bit later and I could hear that the pilot boat was approaching and I went to the bridge.
We left the jetty and I was soon back in the CCR. We will purge cargo tank 7 STB before we will force ventilate until gas free. It is too late to go down in the ballast tank today so we will do it tomorrow. Two full days, one day anchored and one day steaming to Bongkot.
Pilot is coming on board
Time to leave Map Ta Phut, มาบตาพุด
Two days sounds like a dream, but we really have plenty to do so it will be full days for the crew. And we managed to prepare for most of the jobs after dropping the anchor an hour after departure. Quarter past 5 and CT 7 Stb was gas free. So we can do the job in the ballast tank tomorrow. No time to get bored!
+++++++++++++++
Saturday 2nd of June 2018 and we're still anchored when I come down to the CCR to start the “Good morning PEP” meeting and the gymnastics. We will try to find the leak today and we spent an hour without any luck. So I decided to start the IG blowers.
Took us a few seconds to discover that the drain pipe from the deck seal, going through 6 ballast tank was leaking. And it had been repaired at least once before. And it had not been repaired during the last dry dock. Well, it is commonly known that Captain and Chief Engineer had been drunk for 3 weeks during the dry dock. Hired Superintendent and not much had been done.
What a waste of money, and now they save money on light bulbs, matches and we're running out of milk for the tea. And my pillows, what a disgrace they are.
This is a couple of really nasty pillows
We were busy in the ballast tank and we also had a lot of other jobs to do on deck. 2nd Officer and one of the Engineers went ashore and I found two bags in the CCR after dinner. Our PTT Representative was also back and he had brought bananas for me so it might be mango and bananas tomorrow. If I have time to relax for a few minutes that is.

Sunday 3rd of June 2018 and I was in my cabin enjoying a MAX when I heard them start to heave up the anchor. I was in the CCR 10 minutes before 8 o'clock and we got started with the good morning gymnastics first thing.
+++++++++++++++
Monday 4th of June 2018 and I was on the bridge at 6 o'clock and the Pilot was on board a few minutes later. We were very lucky, a heavy shower passed put it passed us 100 meters or so away so the guys managed to get the chain connected to the FSO Pathumabaha without getting wet.
+++++++++++++++
Tuesday 5th of June 2018 and we left Bongkot, บงกด around 7 o'clock in the morning. We had completed loading at 6 o'clock and now we will go to discharge in Si Racha, ศรีราชา. 50,000 Bbls of Bongkot and we will have a Vetting Inspection. Then we will shift to Map Ta Phut to discharge the rest of the cargo.
+++++++++++++++
Wednesday 6th of June 2018 and we had time for some “good morning” gymnastics before we started to prepare for arrival to Si Racha, ศรีราชา Pilot around 10 thirty and we have plenty to do, prepare to land garbage and to take provision and fresh water.
All fast at PTT Jetty #4 at 11 thirty and we started to discharge 1 hour later, so there had been time for a very quick lunch. Very slow discharge here at jetty #4, maximum discharge rate 300m3/h so we will be ready tomorrow evening. Our Agent had sent a box with mango for me so it will be mango tomorrow if I have time to relax for a few minutes.

Thursday 7th of June 2018 and we had a vetting inspection during the day. When the inspection was ready we had quite a few crew members going home for holiday, changed 6 crew members so we will have to have our drills after the departure from Map Ta Phut
We left Si Racha, ศรีราชา ay 20 thirty and we expect it to take 6 hours to Map Ta Phut, มาบตาพุด. And of course, when we need sleep it is berthing on arrival, must be the first time since I joined. So my rest hours will be a little red, well, I adjust my work hours so I stay in the white and we don't have any problem at inspections.
+++++++++++++++
Friday 8th of June 2018 and we were at Map Ta Phut pilot station at 2 thirty and I was dead tired. I was back in my room at 6 o'clock in the morning. Discharging the whole day and we left Map Ta Phut just after 11 o'clock in the evening.
+++++++++++++++
Saturday 9th of June 2018 and we had all our drills today, we changed more than 25% of the crew so we need to have them. We were busy on deck all day long and before we called it a day we did the pre arrival checks and tests.
+++++++++++++++
Sunday 10th of June 2018 and our Pilot came on board just after 6 o'clock in the morning. We discovered that it was coming out hydraulic oil from the FRAMO pump in CT 5 Port.
Yes, this was a nice good morning surprise and we decided not to load in this tank so we can monitor the hydraulic oil leak in the pump. So I had to make a new cargo plan and as we will clean the residual tank tomorrow I had to do a tank cleaning plan as well.
+++++++++++++++
Monday 11th of June 2018 and they called me quarter past 2 in the morning. We completed loading and we left Bongkot at 4 thirty something. We cleaned the residual tank as soon as the pilot was off and we did the tank inspection. We had completed everything, including preparation and test/ check for discharging at lunch time and me and Pump Man called it a day.
+++++++++++++++
Tuesday 12th of June 2018 and I was on the bridge 10 minutes before 7 o'clock in the morning and the pilot boarded us just after 7. We will leave late tonight and we will get working gloves, rags, batteries and safety goggles delivered by the ship chandler before departure.
One of the vetting remark was that I had not have had safety goggles and working gloves. I told them that we didn't had any gloves when I joined. Captain wanted to save money and no working gloves, but we got a new Captain here last discharging and now we get gloves.
The Ship chandler was on board in the afternoon for some documents that had to be signed and stamped. And we asked for Pepsi MAX and she would arrange for 2 cases of MAX to be delivered tonight with the other stores.

We left 22 thirty something, without the MAX as they only had “normal” Pepsi. Well, I'm better off drinking tea and soda water.

Wednesday 13th of June 2018 and there was no lack of things to do during the day while steaming towards Bongkot Gas field and the FSO Pathumabaha.
+++++++++++++++
Thursday 14th of June 2018 and Bongkot, บงกด pilot was on board 06:06 and we started to load at 08:30 and that means yet another full night when we leave early tomorrow morning.
+++++++++++++++
Friday 15th of June 2018 and they called me at 2 o'clock in the morning. 90 minutes until completion and I turned cartwheels down to the CCR. We are loading 230,000 Bbls and it will be full. So I will be in the CCR when we do the final “TOP UP” of the cargo tanks.
We left just after 5 o'clock and we prepared for entry in to void space #1 to have a look at the valve do DB 1 STB. Leaking valve, but of course, today when we had gone through all the trouble it was working just fine. At 8 o'clock we had a gymnastic session before the tool box meeting and at 10 o'clock Pumpy and I left to take a rest.
+++++++++++++++
Saturday 16th of June 2018 and we dropped anchor outside Map Ta Phut at 8 o'clock in the morning. Berthing at midnight, alter on changed to 14:00 tomorrow and in the afternoon it was changed to 16:00 tomorrow. I will not be surprised if they change it again.
+++++++++++++++
Sunday 17th of June 2018 and we're still anchored when I come down to the CCR 10 minutes before 8 o'clock in the morning. Our PTT Representative told us that the pilot would come on board at 14:00. And we will have yet another inspection so the Inspector will board us at the same time as we take the pilot.
And they boarded us at 2 o'clock and the Inspector will have to leave with a boat just after departure tomorrow afternoon. We started discharging just after 4 o'clock and after dinner we started to go through the paper work in the CCR with the Inspector and we will have a tour on deck tomorrow. Always a little something to look forward to here on Rita Maersk.
+++++++++++++++
Monday 18th of June 2018 and we expect to be ready around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. So I had time to go on a tour on deck with the inspector at 9 o'clock. We were ready at 10 thirty and I could start with the loading plan for Bongkot.
We recognise the 4th Engineer from Roy Maersk,
and he is disturbing us in the CCR
Our PTT Representative is going home for three days, I had told him that he could go home and come back next time in Map Ta Phut. I promised him to take care of his paper work so he was very happy, starting already yesterday.
We finished discharging and when we were ready with the paperwork our Agent and PTT Representative left and we will wait for the pilot that will be here at 18:00.

Tuesday 19th of June 2018 and we left Map Ta Phut anchorage while I was in my cabin drinking tea. We had planned to decant using the ODME but we had very strong wing coming in from the side with the ODME outlet. So we decided to do it on the way back from Bongkot.
Steaming North and then we will have the wind blowing in from the other side.
+++++++++++++++
Wednesday 20th of June 2018 and our Pilot was on board at 06:24 and all fast at FSO Pathumabaha at 07:36. We started to lead at 08:28 and as we will have 3 small parcels I don't expect much sleep before it is time to leave early tomorrow morning
When we started loading I completed the arrival report that our PTT Representative use to do. He is home to pick up a Ganesha - พิฆเนศ for me. Made by a monk that had put a lot of power and magic in to it. He will take it to a gold shop to make a frame for it and he sent me a few pictures. Looks good and he will bring it when he joins us when we're back in Map Ta Phut.
Ganesha - พิฆเนศ
So when he is home I help him with the paperwork and as soon as we had started loading I finished the report and I went to Captain so he can send it to the Agent. And of course, I took some pictures so I could send a line to the PTT representative. Just to let him know that we're on top of things. I was soon back in the CCR preparing the discharge plan.
Report ready to be sent

The Ganesha is setting me back with 11,000 Bath. I will give him the money when he comes back, so I went to get cash when I was ready with my discharge plan and we had started the second parcel. Now I have to kill time waiting for this parcel to be ready. I'm tired, but if I go to bed I cannot sleep tonight. And I really need to sleep as it is not long when we have started the third and last parcel. So tomorrow morning will be yet another morning when I will be tired.

We completed the last parcel just before 10 o'clock in the evening. Calculation and we started the 3rd and last parcel just after 10 o'clock and I was in bed at 22 thirty.

First parcel expected to be ready around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, so I have time to do the discharge plan. We get a new 2nd Officer on board in Map Ta Phut and I knew him from Roy Mærsk, and I know that he is living close to the River Ganges, or as they say in Thailand, แม่น้ำคงคา
I got some pictures of him collecting the water, or it can as well be tap water. But I never asked him to swim in the water, but now it will be BIG MAGIC and good luck from now on.

We completed the second parcel just after 3 o'clock and I went to see our Engineers having their coffee break in the duty mess. Our Chief Engineer explained for us how the world would come to a stop if internet and the phones stopped to work.
2nd Parcel is expected to be ready around 7 thirty tonight. So I was soon back to my room, but first I had the mango our PTT Representative had bought for me last time he was ashore. DARN! It is a big mango, the biggest I have ever seen.

Last line at TTT Jetty 2B at 15:12 and I was soon back in my room to take my last things. And i was excited to go home, and to go to see bears and wild life in Europe. Bicycling along the Kiel Canal and bird watching in the area around Liverpool. But I was most excited to get our new 2nd Officer on board so my Ganesha can have a shower in water from Ganges.
I had been expected the on signers to be here around 4 o'clock, ut it was 5 o'clock before the boat arrived and by then I was on deck looking for them with the rest of the crew.

I arrived around 10 thirty and we finished just before 12 when we went for lunch at Sweeter Day. A little set-back for my diet, but it is Saturday fer fåck's sake.
