  I found a pair at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym and I swapped for my new gloves that I did not like. One of the gloves got burned on my exhaust pipe driving to the gym so I needed new gloves. Could not find any shop on FITFAC's web page so I sent them an email. This was in the beginning of September and they would get new gloves at the end of the month. I contacted them at the end of the month, super service and they send me two pairs via GRAB so it took about 30 minutes to get the gloves.      Driving back to my room and I stopped at TOPS Market to buy salmon and tomato paste. We will drive to Max Muay Thai Stadium and we will have a snack in my room before leaving. We decided to eat in my room instead of having fish & chips in Pattaya. I wanted to visit my favourite Fish & Chips in Pattaya as they have rhubarb pie with vanilla sauce. Did not take long for me to discover that the restaurant was gone, so food in my room it was. Spaghetti with salmon in vodka sauce, my friend wished to eat this. I have done it before and they loved it. They will come around 2 o'clock so no time to waste. We did not have so much time so I prepared the food so it was almost ready by the time they knocked on the door.  Creamy Vodka Salmon Pasta coming up

The Creamy Vodka Salmon Pasta disappeared like an aspirin, well, almost. We had tea and some pastries that I had bought when I bought the salmon. I do not remember how many mental notes I have made “Never buy groceries when hungry” I had forgotten all of my mental notes when shopping at Tops Market. So, we had way too much, the girl fighting tonight did not want to eat before her fight. I forced my friends to take a “DOGGY BAG” or I would have finished the sugar filled pastries tomorrow, making me sick. Not to talk about the agony after having stuffed myself with all the, yeah, I say shit! So, thanks for saving me from that! 
 We were soon in the car leaving a pile of dishes behind that I will have to do tonight. It is about 1h 40m to Max Muay Thai in Pattaya and we are soon on the toll way in Samut Prakan passing Bang Na taking off to get on the elevated motorway to Chonburi. Middle of the afternoon and the traffic is light so we expect to arrive 20 minutes before 5 o'clock. Our fighter will weigh in at 5 and the fight starts around 7 o'clock. We have a joyful ride to Pattaya and the baby in the back seems to enjoy the ride as well. My friend points out different things for his daughter and she is very excited.  Heading to Pattaya

Arriving and we register our fighter and now we have to wait until 6 o'clock or so when they let the fighters in to the changing rooms. We walk to 7 Eleven to buy some refreshments to enjoy while waiting at Max Muay Thai. Time was passing pretty quickly and there were some other tourists coming to wait for them to start selling the ticket. 1500฿ per ticket. Of course, we did not have to pay, we got a tag saying “TRAINER” to carry around the neck. And a stamp on the wrist. They let us in to the stadium and we went to the dressing room. Three fights and six fighters, blue and red corner. Coming in to the dress room and we turned left to the blue part of the dressing room. There was space for three fighters and their assistants.  Our friend arrived from Bangkok and he assisted pepping our fighter. Our gym will be the first fight and it will start at 7 o'clock. There is another Thai guy and one guy from England in the blue part of the dressing room. The air was thick with the smell of liniment in the dressing room. After the wrapping of the hands, something that took quite a long time and then it was liniment, Vaseline and I don't know everything. Massage and smacking and the fighters got ready. Some last instructions and stretching before we left for the blue corner ringside. The fighter was left behind in the dressing room. The fighters have to get up on a set of stairs to a platform above the dressing room. From there the walk out to a set of stairs and along a cat walk to the ring when the screen opens up. We go to the blue corner and I am stand-by with my camera to make a video when our fighter is coming out from behind the screen. The video did not turn out any good but I knew that Max Muay Thai Stadium makes videos so it was never mind. And it is not possible to get any good pictures or videos as the ropes covering the view. The fight started and it looked good, for the first round and a bit in to the second round. But the red corner was declared winner by point. Disappointed, I thought the blue fighter was better. But she will win the next fight, she is only 16 so she have many years ahead of her. Losing the fight, but the spirit was high when we returned to the dressing room. Now we had to unwrap the hands and get ready to drive back to Bangkok. But we cannot leave before the last fight is over, prizes are to be paid out. And there is a picture option for the tourists outside the stadium.  Back in the dressing room

 It was nine thirty before we could leave, way past my bed time. And I was looking forward to do the dishes in my room coming back to Samut Prakan. I was in my room around 11 o'clock in the evening, did the dishes and I went to bed. Dead tired  and I had a hard time to fall asleep. Skipping the morning session at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym and I will aim for the afternoon session.
There is one fight in Rayong on the 11th of October, I will  hopefully be in Thailand then and we will spend the weekend in Rayong.

I was on Greenland back in 2015 and I met a couple that was in our group, click HERE to find out more about that adventure! Now they have been on Tasmania and they are flying back to Sweden and they will make a quick stop in Bangkok. They arrive Saturday night and we will take a sightseeing tour of Bangkok on Sunday. Lucky it is Sunday and Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym is closed. Anyway, to make it easy, we are all very old and we are for sure not looking for a trek around Bangkok in the rain and heat so we will do the Bangkok Hop-On Hop-Off Bus and the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat, the hop-on-hop-off boat service Click HERE to find out all about our City Sightseeing!
