  Saturday 8th of March 2025 and I take off to Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym for my last session with The Red Devil, ปีศาจแดง. Not so much pain today and I was happy when I drove back to my room. I will stop to buy some gasoline to keep the tank just above half full when I am away. And I took the opportunity to buy some refreshments to keep in my fridge for the next time I arrive back to my room. I ordered bags on Lazada a couple of days ago. I usually keep a few bags in my Honda Giorno, comes in handy when I go shopping. I bought them in Sweden but they are worn out now. And driving back to my room today and there was an opportunity to use the bag, one of all the bags. I had handed out bags to my friends at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym, but I still have plenty.   Back to my room and I brought the documents, binoculars and my bird book to my room. I also  brought my “guest” helmet to my room. I put my clothes in the laundry first thing coming in to my room.
I wait for it to get ready and when it is ready I take my “birding” racer to give it a good scub. There is a coin operated cleaning station 2 minutes’ drive from my room. It is usually 15 Bath to clean the motorcycle. But today I did it for 10 ฿, normally I put 15 ฿ in the machine, but the counter resets to 0 if it is unused for more than 4 minutes. Feeding a 5 ฿ coin in to the machine and I covered the bike in foam. I took a sponge and I went over it and then I put a 5 ฿ coin and I rinse with the high pressure nozzle.  My racer freshly cleaned

Driving back to my room and I park my “birding” racer. I cover the bike as there will not be any birding with the scooter for quite a while now. Taxi is booked for 20:30 so there are a couple of hours to kill. But time turned quick and I went down quarter past 8. Strange, no sign of the car. AOT is always early and this was the first time I had to wait for the car. At 20 thirty I called to see where the car was, no answer. A few minutes later there was a girl calling, she was calling to say that the taxi was at President on Sukhumvit Soi 24. Yes, I was not happy and the car was 45 minutes late.  Hmm, maybe I was lucky, I was for sure not going to give any tip to the driver today. Normally I give 100 ฿ but I have no cash in my valet and I had been a bit worried about that.

We took off almost an hour later than I had expected. I was in the back enjoying a refreshment that I bought in the vending machine while waiting. Driving along the Srinakarin to reach the toll way. The same way I drive to Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym in the mornings. Nver driving here in the dark, especially Saturday night and now there are plenty restaurants with  live music. Well, anyway, I am too old for this now.
Soon on the toll way and we are hauling arse towards Suvarnabhumi International and I step outside the taxi about 20 minutes before 10 o'clock. A lot of people are going to fly and a lot of cars dropping off passengers, but we manage to find a spot at Gate #1 and I was soon on my way to check-in.  Arriving to Suvarnabhumi International

Checking-in, security and immigration went pretty quickly. Again, no departure stamp, automatic gates at the immigration and I really like it. Thai Airways flight TG 950 to Copenhagen is departing from gate 114. That means that I will have to take the train. I get down to Thai Airways lounge where I spent 20 or 30 minutes before I grow bored. I go to the train station to take the underground to the new terminal. The station was full when the train rolled in. I could see that the next train was arriving in 1 minute on the other track so I waited. The train left full off people leaving an empty platform and the next train was coming in. I got on board and the train was almost empty when we left a minute later. Getting off the train and I took the escalator and I was soon sitting at gate S 114 waiting for the boarding to start. I had to wait for almost an hour before we could start the boarding. I found my seat and when the Stewardess came to take the food order I told her that I only wanted a bottle of water and two extra pillows as I was going to sleep straight after take off. Flight TG 950 to Copenhagen was full, next to full and only a few seats left. I was looking for a better seat, but I hd to stay in my seat. But my seat was actually OK. Sunday 9th of March 2025 and we were pulled of the jet bridge 20 minutes late and I was dead tired, I usually go to bed between 8 and 9 o'clock in the evening and now it was way past midnight.
Taking off and the seat belt sign were put off. I turned my chair in to a bed and I was soon a sleep. Waking up after, I don't know 6 or 7 hours and I asked for some tea. 3 hours remaining to Copenhagen and I started to watch a movie, The Venom. Seriously, is this the kind of movies they make now a days? It was actually embarrassing to watch the film. The breakfast was very good and when we had completed the breakfast it was soon time to land in Copenhagen. I was pleasantly surprised, Thai Airways managed to get all my luggage to Copenhagen. Changing from shorts to proper pants, + 3 ° C so winter pants are required. I bring the luggage cart to the vending machine and I buy a train ticket to Malmö where I will pick up my rented car.  On the train and I realise that I have forgot my MAGA cap on the plane. DARN! I have not used the cap since after the election, but coming to Europe and I will wear it again. Now they blame Europeans blame Trump for all the bad things the EU have done to the people in Europe. So, I brought my best MAGA cap, and I forget it on the plane. I will have to go pick up a new cap, I have handed out a few caps so there should be some available But first to pick up my car at HERTZ in Malmö and we just need to click HERE to find out if I get my car at the car rent shop.
