   it was a setback that I could not use my credit cards. I have exactly ZERO Rupees and the driver didn't want to have US Scooby Dollars. So we had to look for an ATM.
Anyway, it was a comfy car and I asked how much he wanted for a full day. I have planned for a full day tomorrow. And while at it, I could as well have him for the rest of the day. The Driver was happy and we will go to Sewri Flamingo Point when we were ready at Bhandup Pumping Station. I had booked the UBER to Bhandup Pumping Station and it came up on the map so we just followed the map. This was not working as we ended up in Bhandup village, not the place we wanted to go. So we had to ask around several times  Bhandup village, this was not the place we wanted to be at
We went back to the highway and we turned right at the next intersection. We should have made a U-turn instead of turning right. But we stopped a few times and we were soon on the right track. Coming back and we see a yellow building, this is where we should leave the highway. Yes, we're doing a wee bit of trailblazing today. We explore the area today and we will be back here early tomorrow morning. I was excited even before getting out of the car, the lake/ pond was full of Flamingos. And I discovered that it was the Greater Flamingo. White with some red in the plumage. White or pink bill. I went down to the water and there was a group of Black-winged stilts taking off when I scared them. There was also a group of Eurasian Curlews in the water. The flamingos looked like they were preparing for going to sleep. I walked around the area, but the flamingos was too far away for any good pictures. And there wasn't many other birds around. We continued to the end of the road to check out the boats. I had been hoping to be able to take a boat tour. But there was a man and he told me they were running on Saturdays and Sundays. So we will of course be back tomorrow. The boat jetty was nothing but some bamboo sticks and it looked very flimsy, will I be able to board the boat?  Hmm, I was doubtful. But make no mistake, I will be back tomorrow to give it a try. I agreed with the driver to come pick me up at the hotel at 6 o'clock tomorrow morning

OK, we have checked everything and now we knew where to find the area they call Bhandup Pumping Station. We will be here early tomorrow morning. Now we will leave for Sewri Flamingo  Point to see if we can see any flamingos. I asked the driver to stop at an ATM and at a place so we could buy water.
I also wanted to stop at the Flamingo Watch Point just north of the Sewri Flamingo Point on the way. I got cash and water and we were soon stopping at the Flamingo Watch point. Not allowed to enter with the car so I walked down towards the sea. I saw a guy, looking like a scavenger waving at me. Turned out that it was some kind of a guard and he told me that this was a NO GO ZONE. Well, nothing interesting to see here anyway.  No entrance

I discover that it is high water when we reach Sewri Flamingo Point and no flamingos at the pier. I saw them at a distance, but there was a Western Reef Heron. I had a few pictures of the heron and then I went to look for my driver. He was away eating and I checked out the area while waiting for him. They were working on their fishing boats and there were birds to watch. But I never managed to get any pictures. I had seen the flamingos further down the river so I wanted to go see if we could get to the beach. So when the driver arrived we took off to check it out. The map on the phone came in handy. First to the left. We were soon running in to a road block and we decided to go around approaching from the other side. Here we ran in to a big tank from an old road tanker blocking the road. OK, I have seen many flamingos and it will  hopefully be more flamingos tomorrow so I called it a day.

I was tired and we are leaving very early tomorrow. So I can as well get back to my room, dinner and sleep. I had my dinner and one of the Waiters wanted me to take his picture to post on some review page. I told him that I can put the picture on Google review. So this is the first thing I will have to do when I have the time.  OK, so I'm looking forward to a day of bird watching at Bhandup Pumping Station tomorrow. And as we have spent the day trailblazing I can get right down to the bird watching tomorrow. No need to look for the place or to ask for any directions.
