Bird watching in Bergslagen



Wednesday 1st of May 2019 and I started the day with tea and oatmeal in my room before I left Best Western Fagersta Brukshotell. I was driving road #66 to the Great Grey Owl and the rain stopped when I was approaching the Great Grey owl area. But it was still gloom and grey for long as I could see.

No signs of the owl and I left for the Sågdammen in Skultuna. There are beavers in the river and I stay until the beavers have gone to bed.

I was very tired and I drove back to Best Western Fagersta Brukshotell where I had breakfast and a power nap before I left for Hamgården and Tiveden National Park. I hope to be able to look for some birds at Tiveden National Park in the afternoon, depending on the weather.

I left Best Western Fagersta Brukshotell driving through the forest keeping an eye out for exciting wildlife and birds. I passed the Great Grey Owl Area but nothing and I was soon on the highway steering towards Hamgården.
