  Thursday 5th of July 2018 and I woke up 30 minutes before my alarm was set to go off at 04:00. I left Hotel Marina Plaza just after 7 o'clock and I had have a nice breakfast. I went to the taxi stand and there was a Volvo V90 and I decided to take that taxi so I could get a feeling for the V90, but first I went to the drug store. I got off at Bildeve/ Hertz and they were soon rolling out my Volvo V90 and I left for a parking space to familiarize myself a little with the car. I was soon on E6 leaving Helsingborg behind full speed towards Jönköping and Vättern. I'm doing good speed and ETA to Fagersta 2 o'clock. I cross a small river and there is a rest place on the other side of the bridge. Rest Stop - Laganrasten on E6 (Northbound Lane) I decide to stop to see if there is any birds. I park the car and I walk down towards the river. I can see that there are several birds in the small tress. But they are very scared. But I manage to see a few Great Tits. And I got a few pictures, but the pictures was very bad.  Great Tit/ Talgoxe

There was a lot of bird and I could easily have spent much more time here, but I left after having spent a little more than an hour in the bushes. But I made a mental note to stop here again when I have finished my wildlife adventure up north. Next stop was in Mjölby to buy picnic lunch and some Pepsi MAX, 20 bottles and it will keep me going for a few days,  hopefully! Well, I had made a stop at a rest place next to the Lake Vättern, but no birds.
I left Mjölby and I continued on the highway E6 until Lidköping when I left the highway to drive through the forest to Fagersta. I stopped somewhere in the forest to have my picnic lunch. It was just a small dust track in to the forest, a working road for the forest machinery. I had my lunch while keeping my eyes out for birds. No bird was seen and I was soon on my way again.  A beautiful day on the highway

I arrived to my hotel, Best Western Fagersta Brukshotell around 3 o'clock and I spent an hour in my room before I left again.
