  Thursday 9th of August 2018 and again, I left Hotel Marina Plaza just after 7 as the breakfast started a little earlier than 7. My plan is to drive around the country side to look for Red Kites along the roads. I have seen plenty of them looking for road kills so I might be lucky. So I leave Helsingborg behind getting out on the country roads driving along Skälderviken.  Driving through the country side

Driving towards Ängelholm and I leave the main road several times to get down to Skälderviken water front. I see several Red Kites but they are too far away and as this is not the north we have some traffic and I cannot park where ever I want along the road. But it was a beautiful morning and I enjoyed the beautiful sights of Skåne. But the bird life left a lot to wish for and the Kites was the only thing I saw in the horizon. I reached Ängelholm and I turned towards Helsingborg before reaching the city and I was soon back on the country roads through Skåne.  Driving through the country side

I drive towards Hyllinge where I will have a sift ice cream, Engelholms Glass before driving to my nephews. Same place I had been with my nephews so I knew that they had Engelholms Glass. But  the place was closed, DARN! I went in to the Supermarket and I bought Raspberries and Blueberries that I will have for dinner in my room at Marina Plaza tonight.
I was both happy and disappointed that my favourite ice cream places had been closed today, good for my diet, but DARN! I wanted to have an Engelholms Glass.  No ice cream today
 White Wagtail
I know a place outside Bjuv where there is a Red Kite couple, they are there everytime I pass so I went to investigate if there is some kind of access to the fields. I found a very small dust track and I could see the birds. I approached very slowly but the birds took off. I was waiting around but the only thing I got out of it was a White Wagtail. Well, I have to return my car and I will fly to Manchester tomorrow. So I took a taxi from Bildeve when I had returned the car and I had my berries in my room when I was back at Marina Plaza. My alarm is set to go off at 4 and I will fly to Manchester from Copenhagen. So I will take the train from Helsingborg and you just need to click HERE to find out all about the flight to Manchester and the road trip to Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port.
