  Tuesday 24th of July 2018 and my alarm goes off at 4. Breakfast at 7, but they start a little before 7 so I was on my way to the car just after 7 o'clock. A gorgeous morning and light traffic. I stopped in Lerhamn to look for birds on my way to Björkeröd on Kullaberg. SÅ HÄR RÖSTAR DU PÅ ALTERNATIV FÖR SVERIGE I RIKSDAGSVALET!
I had studied the internet and there is a Nature Reserve along to coast between Lerhamn and Mölle called Möllehässle Nature Reserve. I followed a small dust path with the car but I could not find any opening in the fence to get out on the nature reserve. But I could see a Grey Heron from the dust path. I left for Kullaberg, but I will be back.  A Grey Heron couple

I parked the car at Björkeröd and I started to walk towards Mölle. The red walking path on the map that you can find in the information PDF “Kullaberg Nature Reserve” by clicking HERE In Swedish only. I left Björkeröd by foot walking towards Mölle, the very same dust path I had been driving my moped between Arild and Mölle. Only allowed to walk and bicycle but when you were young, who cares? Anyway, I continued the walk path and I missed to take off towards Mölle Mosse and Mölle and I continued straight forward. I spotted a few birds but no pictures. I made a sound recording, but it was not any good as I could not identify the bird. The bird was jumping around in the bushes and I could not get any pictures. I walk back to my car and I leave Björkeröd and Kullaberg behind. I decided to go have a look at the nature reserve in Strandbaden, Strandbadens kusthed. I found the nature reserve and I parked the car. And the first thing I saw was Barn Swallows.  Barn Swallow

I walk around Strandbadens kusthed and I see a lot of birds, but th eonly picture I get is of a Barn Swallow and a Meadow Pipit. There are plenty ducks, Black-backed Gulls and Oystercatchers. But they were very scared and they took off when I approached. There were Cormorants but they also disappeared. I leave Strandbadens kusthed and I drive towards Helsingborg. I have decided to go visit Sofiero Castle and the garden to look for birds. I keep my eyes open for birds of prey along the road. I see a few birds of prey but no place to stop. I left the main road trying to come close on the small roads, but no luck. I parked my car outside Sofiero and I paid the entrance, and it was not cheap to come in to the garden. Well, they need money to maintain the garden. Anyway, I went to look for a plac eto buy water as it was a record breaking heat. I found a place and they sold my favourite ice cream, Engelholms Glass and I bought a Stor Strut.   Entrance to Sofiero

 It is a beautiful garden, but it was very hot and I think the birds was hiding in the shadow. I spotted a Great Tit and a Eurasian Magpie high up in a tree. I tried to make a recording but there was another bird disturbing, and I suspect it was a Willow Warbler. I never saw the bird, but I have uploaded the sound to www.xeno-canto.org to see if I can get some help Listen to the Eurasian Magpie / Skata and the European Greenfinch

I see a bird that I think is a Willow Warbler in a tree and a Common Blackbird collecting food on the lawn. And I manage to get some pictures. I was happy and I went back to the car, the Common Blackbird has the worms and other yummy stuff to munch on. So my plan is to go to Österns Pärla for some spring rolls. It had been a beautiful day even though I had not got any pictures. I parked the car at Marina Plaza and I crossed the street to Österns Pärla   Spring rolls
Back in my room at Hotel Marina Plaza and I looked at my pictures. Off to bed early and I will go to pick up my Nephews after breakfast tomorrow.
