PLEASE! If you see any mistakes, I'm 100% sure that I have wrongly identified some birds.
So please let me know on my guestbook at the bottom of the page
The Grey-hooded Warbler (Phylloscopus xanthoschistos) is a species of leaf warbler (family Phylloscopidae). It is most famous for the way it warbles. It was formerly included in the "Old World warbler" assemblage.
It is found in the Himalayas. Its natural habitat is temperate forests.

Remarks from the Recordist
The forest was full of the Grey-headed Warbler. And all of them had food in their bill. I saw the bird in all the places I visited in the Kathmandu Valley. And all the same, with food in their mouth.
And it was not food for any babies as the bird was jumping between the same branches all the time, so my guess is that it was a breeding call for a mate and the food was to impress a future mate
Any ideas? I cannot attach pictures to the forum so I cannot let you see the birds
April and it was almost impossible to make recordings in Nepal due to the Blue-throated Barbet that we can hear on the recording, going on and on
