I expected to sign on middle of January, but I received e-mail from the ship the day after Christmas Eve. They will spend New Year's Eve in Amsterdam and they will be in
Tuxpan
is both a municipality and city located in the Mexican state of Veracruz. The official name is Tuxpan de Rodríguez Cano. The population of the municipality was 126,616 inhabitants (Year 2000)in a total area of 1,061.89 km²
Tuxpan or Túxpam in Nahuatl, the language of the ancient Toltecs, literally means "Place of Rabbits"
The city is located on the banks of the Tuxpan River, which reaches the Gulf of Mexico 11 kilometers downstream. Tuxpan is the nearest port to Mexico City
Tuxpan around the 18th of January. In the States 25th of January (+ delays) and I suppose to sign on there.
It will be nice to get on the ship. I'm enjoying a long and expensive holiday. I had to stop writing about it because we reached 10MB and the page were blown out of all proportions. Well, I guess all of you have broadband today. Otherwise it will take ages to download the darn thing.
But why not, make dinner or wash your car while waiting for the download to complete.
Well, the Christmas and New Years festivities is over and now we just wait for next Christmas and we repeat the whole thing all over again. But next Christmas I hope I can be on a ship. I had it with Chritmas Trees and Christmas carols.
After the last party I have been hibernating but I had a few days in school and long walks. Hmm, I'm happy to say that my diet hasn't suffered the Christmas and my holiday as much as I had expected. But the hard work allways continues or as my friend said:
- You have been on a diet for as long as I have known you.
Well, the day before the graduation party I received e-mail from the Captain on Barcarolle. They will be in Panama 17th of January and they want me to sign on there before going to Rosarito, just South of Tijuana in Mexico. I really hope I can make it to Panama, I had enough of this doing nothing by now.
It will be nice to be back at the wheel again making money for the company.
I checked my e-mail when I came home from the graduation dinner, and there it was, my flight details:

Well, they booked me from Singapore and that was a wee bit wrong. But they would try to change it for me. Hey, I'm looking forward to this trip: Singapore - Amsterdam - New York - Panama. Well, I sent an e-mail about changing my flight, I want to fly from FUNKY TOWN, not Singapore.
Well, all flight s from Funky Town were full, but during the afternoon they got a seat on KLM from Funky Town. It saved me a few hours (but I lost frequent flyer points) on the plane. Well, I'm out of here.
