  Saturday 28th of January 2017 and I cancelled the bird watching today. Sitting in the restaurant and I saw how the sky was opening up and it started to pour down. Well it had been a lot of walking yesterday and I was, honestly, quite happy to stay in my room until departure. I have a late check out so I can stay until 3 o'clock and my flight leaves around 7 o'clock. Will be nice to get back home after having completed yet another items on my list of things to do before I'm too old. Updated list • To experience a hangover

So I spent the day in my room and I was ready to leave at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I took my bag, the empty cardboard that I had used for my MAX was left behind. Nothing to pay in the  reception and I was off. Lucky and there was a taxi waiting at the taxi stand.
The guy working for the Holiday Inn waved over the taxi. They loaded my bag in to the back of the car and I got in to the back seat and we were off towards Changi International Airport.  Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore

Light traffic and we were hauling arse and we were at Changi International before I had finished my last Pepsi MAX. Checking in was over pretty quick and immigration, well, that took longer. I went to buy some baby aspirin, enough to last me until May 2019. Latest news, Aspirin is not only helping to protect you from cancer. Now they have found out that it helps preventing dementia etc. So one baby pill  everyday will  hopefully keep me healthy until my last breath.
My back pack was full of pills when I went to Singapore Airlines Lounge, the SilverKris lounge on Changi International, a disappointment every time. Internet coming and going and it is easy to come  under the impression that it is only passengers from India. Only Indian food and this time I was so disappointed, no more Pepsi in the lounge. Only Coca Cola products and I cannot say that I was very happy.
But time passed quickly and I was soon on my way to the gate, just to discover that the flight was delayed. But it was not so bad and we were soon starting to board Singapore Airlines flight SQ 978 to Bangkok.  No Pepsi MAX in the lounge

 Last line message before taking off
 Taking my seat and I did some “Line” business before I had to turn off my phone. I flipped through the entertainment selection on the video screen and I found an episode of the Family Guy. I had for sure nor expected to find Family Guy on the inflight entertainment system. I turned it on ASAP and I was disappointed when I only found the one episode. We had our dinner and time turned kind of quick and it was soon time to start the descending to Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Captain told us about the weather in Bangkok: - 23 °C I thought that Captain must be drunk, he must mean 33 °C We were at the gate just next to the immigration. Singapore Airlines use Gate D7 and that is just next to the immigration Not many people in the immigration and I was soon at the luggage belt. I booked an AOT Limousine and we went to buy some MAX at the Family Mart before we went to the car. And Captain was right, it was 23 °C and it was a wee bit nippy.  Waiting for my bag

Latest news is that I will have to fly back to Singapore on Thursday to join Roy Mærsk. So I have 3 days to train boxing with ปีศาจแดง ก.กุมานนท์, Red Devil at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym. There was of course time to eat also. But it was not so bad, only lunch with my trainer, the only meal at restaurants. Breakfast was oatmeal at home. Du Thoomaas, en massa grejor som måste ordnas
The ticket to Singapore on Thursday was changed to Saturday as the ship is delayed, but it is Saturday morning and that means that I will have to wake up 3 o'clock in the morning. So I asked Mærsk to send me on Thursday so I can do some birding in Singapore while waiting for the ship.  Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym

So, time to leave Bangkok again and I cannot say that I'm very sad. Singapore, I will go to the Botanical Garden to try my new AUDUBON BIRD CALL. I ordered the bird caller on the internet from New Zealand. I have not had the chance to try the AUDUBON BIRD CALL in Bangkok. A little bit, but only in traffic areas and there have been birds being interested. So I can't wait to get to the Botanical Garden in Singapore to try the machine.  So we will find out if the machine works to attract the birds. I will fly to Singapore and on Friday I will hopefully know how the machine works.
