Wednesday 1st of August 2012 and I woke up 20 minutes before 10 o'clock. So I called our 3rd Officer in the CCR and I told him that it was not necessary to call me at 10. It was almost 3 o'clock in the morning when I left the CCR and I needed some sleep. And it was a very poor sleep,  took ages before I felt asleep and I woke up several times and finally 20 minutes before 10 I went out of bed.
I popped open a diet drink and I had a few sips before I had a hot shower. I went down  to the CCR and we will be ready around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and + 1 hour for stripping. I skipped my morning tea and I had my second diet drink before I started with my paper work in the office.
I was doing some work with Captain in the office when we spotted the 2nd Officer on the 12 to 4 watch. - Lunch time!! We dashed off to the mess room for our lunch just to discover that the clock only was quarter to 12. - What the  ? I never seen him early before, I said.
- We can't adjust our time according to him, Captain said. We went to do some important work and we were back in the mess room a wee bit past 12 o'clock. I had broccoli and salad for lunch and our Captain had a cup of flaxseed. He ordered 10 kg of flaxseeds and he was beaming of joy. - We will have flaxseeds to last us for ever Well, the joy disappeared as soon as it was time to eat the flaxseeds. He was for sure not beaming of joy when he ate the flaxseeds.

I did my Thai books after lunch, the first time I have opened the books since I came onboard. Now I will try to do this every day. And I would have been back to my flaxseeds routines, but I  was very busy in the afternoon. We completed loading at 16:24 and I was in my office doing the Cargo transfer Plan so this would be ready at completion.
We will only shift a few meters and we will change cargo arm and we will start loading the jet fuel. And I need to have all the paper work ready before we can start loading. But it turned out that I would get plenty time. But there is of course always something else to do. I even had time for a very quick dinner before the Loading Master came onboard to do the paper work, first for the discharging and then for the loading. We were almost ready when it was time for us to shift the ship about 6 meters astern.  Tug boat stand-by while we're shifting the ship 6 meters astern
We will connect two arms for the loading of the jet fuel and we shifted the ship between 19:00 and 19:12 and we were back in my office to complete the paper work for the loading. We completed  the paper work and now we were just waiting for the terminal to be ready.
I had 20 seconds of spare time so I went to the day room where our Engineers were enjoying themselves like only Engineer knows how to do. I had a diet drink before I returned to my office. Our 2nd Officer and I had some paper work to do and we had planned to do this for several days now. But lack of time... Our 2nd Officer asked if I wanted to do the paper work tomorrow morning after 8 o'clock.  - I will  hopefully be sleeping by then.
I told him that I would do it myself and I started right off and I was surprised to be ready  before it was time to start the loading. Well, we didn't start to load until 22:36. Well, we started an hour before, but one of the cargo arms was leaking.
They had their best shore people from shore to fix the arm. But it was still leaking the second time we started and they decided to load with one cargo arm only. Well, it will take longer to load and we expect to be ready on Friday morning, and I really hope that it won't be in the middle of the night. Well, it was almost midnight when I was back in my cabin and I will watch a movie before going to bed. And I will not turn on my alarm for tomorrow morning, I will sleep as long as I can because it can be a long night tomorrow night. And I'm better off being prepared.

Thursday 2nd of August 2012 and 3rd Officer called me at 10 o'clock.

I was dead tired and I'm pretty sure I had cancelled my 10 o'clock wakeup call yesterday. But it turned out to be good, I'm tired and I will hopefully be able to fall asleep tonight. We're expecting to be ready 5 o'clock tomorrow morning and from there on it will be a full day. And if I can't fall sleep tonight, well, I will be foocked.
I started my day with a diet drink and a hot shower, and I finished my diet drink when I came down to the CCR. Everything was looking good in the CCR. The shore people were going to try to repair the cargo arm on manifold #4 and I went to have a cup of flaxseeds. I spent the afternoon preparing my discharging plan, latest news, straight from SHELL Bukom to Tankstore to discharge full cargo. And they have cancelled the Gasoil cargo, Good, discharge full cargo of jet fuel and then we will load 3 parcels of jet fuel and we're off to Sydney. I went with our 2nd Engineer to his cabin after dinner to install a html editor I have copied for  him. Arachnophilia, the html editor I used when I started with aladdin.st. We installed the program and I showed our 2nd Engineer the ropes. And we searched for HTML schools on the internet and he will have plenty material to study. I told him to think about a name  for his web page so we can register a domain for him. I suggested coffeebreak.com but I don't know if this is what he had in mind.
We expect to complete loading around 3 o'clock in the morning and that means that I will get my wakeup call around 2 o'clock. And I was tired so I had hope of being able to fall asleep. I spent a few hours in bed and it was impossible to fall asleep. I went down to the CCR to check out the loading and I was back in bed tossin' and turnin'. I lost my temper a few times while trying to fall asleep, but I managed to fall asleep around 1 o'clock and I was dead tired when they called me at 2 o'clock again. Yeah, dead tired again and I had a full day ahead of me again. +++++++++++++++
Friday 3rd of August 2012 and we completed loading at 03:00 and our Surveyor were onboard not  long after that. Sampling, ullage and calculations
They told me that it would take 6 hours for the cargo analysis, but it was non-stop action and the cargo documents would be onboard around 8 o'clock and Pilot was ordered for 08:40. So I decided to spend the time waiting preparing my discharge plan instead of trying to get some very short sleep, if I would have managed to fall asleep. So I had prepared everything for the discharge. We will drop our anchor for 1 hour waiting  for the Pilot and we expect to be at  the Tankstore Terminal just after lunch.
I had our extra painters to clean the accommodation in the morning and they were busy sweeping the aisles  outside our mess room when I ran in to them.
Mopping but first sweeping and they were in full swing when I ran in to them. I could not believe my eyes. They were sweeping the carpet and around the carpet. - What the
I asked them if they didn't remove the carpets from the floor before sweeping and mopping.  - Well, no, yes, a kind of....  hmm...
- If I cleaned the floor like that when I was a deck Boy I would most likely have worked at 7 Eleven today. For sure I would have got fired. The removed the carpet and there was a cubic ton of dirt under the carpet. And of course, I took a picture. Our cargo document s was onboard at 8 o'clock and the Loading Master, Surveyor and our Cargo expediter left us around 20 minutes past 8. We had a new cargo Expediter onboard, our other Expediter was going home to his daughter that had her birthday tomorrow. He will be back again and he will buy me a new Canon camera. I need a new one so I have a back up camera when  the camera I have now break down
It is not a question if but when my camera breaks down. Canon is the best, but as I use my cameras they tend to break down after a few months. We left SHELL Bukom 6 minutes past 9 o'clock and as soon as I had updated my departure message I went to bed. Pilot would be onboard at 11 o'clock on the
That would give me and our Pump man time to finish our pre arrival tests in a good time before arrival to Tankstore in Singapore. I got a e-mail from a guy in Holland. He had found my pictures from Cafe De Til in Amsterdam. I sent him an e-mail asking him how he  had found the pictures. A stupid question, I did a PICTURE search for cafe De Til in Amsterdam on internet. All the pictures coming up were my pictures.
Well, we completed all our pre arrival tests and checks on deck and I had finished all my paper work so I had nothing to do while waiting for us to come alongside. I had  expected us to be alongside round 12 o'clock. According to the information I had it would be 30 minutes to the jetty.
I don't know why, but we were only approaching the jetty very slow and I had time for a very quick lasagne for lunch before I went to the bridge. 
When I came to the kitchen Captain's daughter was playing with one of those Russian wooden dolls, Babushka or whatever they call them. She had spread the dolls all over the floor so I had to tread carefully to avoid stepping on the dolls. I would have crushed the wooden dolls and I can imagine the reaction from Captain's daughter. I went to the bridge and we were making fast the tug boats around 12 thirty and if I remember it right we started with the moorings around 1 o'clock. We had got a new 4th Engineer and 3rd Officer from Rumania on the anchorage.  Arriving to Tankstore in Singapore
So our Rumanian 3rd Officer was in charge of the equipment on the bridge and I only noted the times for my log book. I went to my office as soon as we had all fast and it took quite some time before our Loading Master came onboard to do the paper work. Now we're only waiting for the Surveyor for the calculation so we can start the discharging. Our Expediter called the Expediter at home to see how it went with the new camera he was going to buy. He had found 2 different Canon, one for 159 Dollars and one for 360 Dollars. - Which one do you want?

It was almost 8 o'clock in the evening when I was back in my cabin. And I was tired, I had been up since 2 o'clock in the morning when we completed the loading at SHELL Bukom. +++++++++++++++
Saturday 4th of August 2012 and I woke up at 10. And I was still tired even though I had slept for 10 hours. A shower and a diet drink later I was in my office doing the loading plan for 100,000 bbls jet fuel at Oiltanking, our next terminal when we have discharged all the jet fuel here at Tankstore.
Captain's wife told me that they had the pictures they took of me and their daughter in Australia on a USB stick and when I was in Captain's cabin he copied the pictures for me.
We will leave here late tonight and according to our Expediter we will go alongside immediately so that means yet another full night so I decided to try to get some sleep after lunch. Lo and behold, I managed to fall asleep and I woke up 20 minutes before 5 in the afternoon. Now I'm ready to take on any night work they throw my way. I was in a very good mood when I came down to my office, I had managed to sleep during the afternoon and I was actually looking forward to some night job. I like the night job if I can sleep the day after. late nights are no problem if I can sleep to 10 or 12 o’clock in the morning. But now it was changed, anchorage and we will go alongside early tomorrow morning. - What the
My mood swung from very good to angry in 0,2. Now it would be impossible for me to sleep during  the night and I will be dead tired tomorrow.
We had an hour at the anchorage between SHELL Bukom and Tankstore and we got a new 3rd Officer and 4th Engineer from Rumania onboard. The 3rd Officer had been here before, he have also been on Maersk Cassandra so he knows the ship. But he is double with our Russian 3rd Officer that will go home in a few days. Well, the Russian 3rd Officer has been very good and I have been a wee bit worried, I never know what kind of people coming onboard. But the  Rumanian guy have been here before and he seems to know what he is doing. So I'm  happy even though the Russian guy have been excellent.
We completed discharging at 22:00 and when we were ready we just had to wait for the Loading Master so we could finish our paper work. While waiting we started with the pre arrival check and tests so we're ready with this at arrival to Oiltanking where we will load 100,000 bbls jet fuel. The first of 3 parcels before we leave for Sydney and Melbourne in Australia. +++++++++++++++
Sunday 5th of August 2012 and I was back in my cabin around midnight 30. I updated my web page and I started a movie. I never expected me to be able to fall asleep after all my sleeping but I managed to fall asleep and I woke up when they called me at 8 thirty.

I had a shower before I went to the bridge and I was in a good mood and full of vim after the unexpected sleep. Yeah, I had expected to be sitting all night long waiting for us to come alongside. When I came to the bridge I told Captain that he could go home. - I can relieve you, I have got the hang of the sleeping thing now. Managed to fall asleep, beginners luck or was I just too tired after the last days in Singapore. The other day I was speaking Skånska with Captain, at several occasions and he was like. - What the are you saying?
I swapped to English and I realised that I was too tired after the Singapore thing. But now I have had several hours of sleep, Like 8 or 19 hours of sleep since the 3rd in the evening.  5th of August 2012 - Oiltanking Jetty 18 - Sending ashore the stern line from the poop deck
We had our first line ashore at Oiltanking jetty 18 somewhere before 9 thirty and our SHELL Expeditor came on the bridge. Now we have the original Expeditor back onboard after his day off with his kid’s birthday party. - Nice to have you back onboard, I said. He had come onboard during the early morning at the anchorage and when I came to the bridge Captain told me that he had brought cake for me and the Captain.  - I'M ON A MOTHERFOOCKING DIET!!!
We had all fast at 09:54 and I was down to my office and our SHELL Expeditor gave me my new  camera, a Canon, of course.
I tried my new camera right on and the first picture is of course of our SHELL Expeditor doing paper work at the ship's office. 
We were waiting for the Loading Master and he was onboard with the Surveyors at 10:24 when we had the shore gangway on deck. Paper work and a few laughs and we were ready to receive cargo around 11 thirty. Just to wait for the terminal to be ready so we could start the loading. The other day the 2nd Officer from Rumania told me that Rumania was the most famous country in the world for gastronomy. - What the ? I only heard that they have to sniff glue because there is no food.
I asked him how many Rumanian restaurants he had seen in the world. Well, exactly ZIP. Today he told me that Rumania had the second quickest internet in the world.  5th of August 2012 - Oiltanking Jetty 18 - 2nd Officer in the CCR when we start loading

I had to run out to the ship's office and I begged our SHELL Expediter to relieve me. - I can't take the Rumanian and his stories anymore!! The other day it was world famous food and now it is the quickest internet. I tried to explain (very slowly) for our Rumanian 2nd Officer that the only thing Rumania was known for was the children sniffing glue in the sewers. Well, we will be ready with the loading between 10 and 11 o'clock tonight and according to latest news we will have our Pilot onboard at 2 o'clock tomorrow morning for direct shifting to Universal Terminal. Yeah, another full night ahead of me.  Captain has realised that there will be no sleep tonight so he is spending the time playing rally on the TV

I tried to sleep after the dinner, but no success so I went down to the CCR at 9 to see how things worked out. We will be ready at 22 thirty according to the Terminal. I went to our day room and our Captain was playing rally on the TV while his daughter was jumping on him. - So you can't sleep? He asked. - No, now it will be no sleep until 6 or 7 tomorrow morning, if we're lucky! Yes, if we're lucky that is, it can easily be delays and bed time much later. We completed loading at 22 thirty and we got right on with the paper work. Pilot was ordered for 02:00 so we even had time for a cup of tea. +++++++++++++++
Monday 6th of August 2012 and we left Oiltanking at 02:06 and we had all fast at jetty #13 on the Universal Terminal 04:00 and Surveyor and Loading Master was onboard some 20 minutes later.

I was back in bed at 7 thirty or 8 o'clock in the morning and I woke up at 1 o'clock. Still tired, but if I sleep more I won't be able to fall asleep tonight. As it looks now we will drop anchor until Wednesday when we're finished at this Terminal. I was at my desk doing yet another stupid slide show with the pictures from the shifting from Oiltanking to Universal when they called me. It was 3 o'clock and they gave me the 1 hour notice and I went down to the CCR as soon as I had had my shower. We completed loading at 16:00 and the Surveyor started to take the ullages. We had one parcel from Oiltanking in CT 1+6+5 CT. We had loaded jet fuel at Universal at 2+4+5+7 CT. So we had 2 parcels with 2 different densities and we had comingled Jet fuel in 5 CT so we had to calculate a new density for this tank and we had to do 3 ullage reports. 3 different densities and when we're ready in Singapore we will have mixed cargo from 2 terminals in CT 4 as well. So we will have 5 different densities when we're leaving Singapore for Australia  Back at Jurong anchorage for a day of relaxing

We left Universal 6 minutes past 6 o'clock in the evening. Our SHELL Expediter had left us and he will be back onboard on Wednesday when we're loading the last parcel of Jet fuel at SHELL Bukom. It will be nice with a day at the anchorage, we have plenty to do. And it was very nice to leave for the anchorage, no stress to be ready for the next terminal. I always have my paper work ready before leaving the terminal and so this time as well, but I can do the paper work for SHELL Bukom tomorrow. I had time for dinner with our 2nd Engineer and I completed everything in my office before I went to the bridge for a chat with Captain. They were about to drop the anchor when I came up on the bridge. The Pilot left us and we were alone again, nice!  Back at Jurong anchorage for a day of relaxing

I had had my dinner, but I joined Captain and his family for a glas of water when they had their  dinner. And Captain was in the sofa in front of the TV playing rally as soon as he had  finished his dinner.
I took his daughter and I lifted her like she was jumping on top of Captain. This was obviously fun because she was climbing up on the table and she jumped at him. She was scared to take the leap the first time, but after that she thought it was fun. Captain crashed his car every time and it ended up with him running around with the control trying to drive the rally car while his daughter was chasing him. He was soon giving up the idea to play rally on the TV. Well, I returned to my cabin and a movie I started a few days ago. I will hopefully be able to complete the movie today.

Tuesday 7th of August 2012 and, well, it is about time we have some music on Skånska again. Hmm, quite some time since we heard Skånska on www.aladdin.st. Nice to have something “FUNKY” coming from the loudspeakers while checking out all the exciting pictures.
The morning of the 7th of August will go down the history books as the first time we have had time for a GOOD MORNING group hug since we arrived to Singapore. The crew demanded a group hug during our GOOD MORNING “PEP” meeting.   Finally, we have time for the GOOD MORNING group hug againWe don't have time to start any big jobs as we will go alongside tomorrow morning. But our Pump man will be busy helping our 2nd engineer changing a hydraulic pipe on deck. And Captain told me that the ship was sold this morning. So we will just maintain the ship for discharging Australia.  First I was told that we would deliver the ship in Taiwan and then it was in Hong Kong. Well, we will see...
We were supposed to have a vetting inspection here in Singapore, but they cancelled the vetting. So now it looks like we will have the vetting inspection in Australia. But as the ship is sold they might cancel again. If we're going straight to Hong Kong to deliver the  ship without loading after the discharging they will cancel the vetting inspection.
But we need to be prepared for everything so I had one of our ABs to mark all our manholes and hatches on deck so this will look good just in case. Well, anyway, the crew just had some easy tasks during the day. They have been working very hard the last 2 weeks here in Singapore and there will be more action at SHELL Bukom tomorrow. But if there is time for another cargo before delivery we might have the vetting. Ship is to be delivered on the 1st of August in Hong Kong according to the latest news. It might be in Taiwan, but as I told Captain. - If we sign off in Hong Kong you book us for a few days at Holiday Inn. - Yeah, we will have a few days of holiday before going home I stayed at Holiday Inn in Hong Kong a few years ago. And they had the best canned potato at the buffet. And I'm looking forward to see if they still serve those potatoes. I gave Captain a few pointers about booking our hotel rooms. - Make sure they book you on the “family floor” and me on the “FUNKY  floor”
Time turned very quick even though I had the news about the ship being sold. I had planned for many jobs on our way to Australia, but many of these jobs will be for nothing if we deliver the ships to new owners. So there is a risk of this voyage to Australia will turn out to be a boring one,  but I always have my Thai books.
We will have stores delivered tonight and our Captain will give it a last try to get 10 cases of Diet Pepsi onboard. He asked me if I was sure there was something called Diet Pepsi - Of course there are - Why don't they deliver Diet Pepsi then? He asked.  Captain have never succeeded in getting any Diet Pepsi onboard. We will make another try to get 10 cases with a barge today. But Captain needs to check the internet so there really is something called Diet Pepsi.
He asked me how the can looked and he also asked for the exact name. And he double checked my information on the internet. An image search on Diet Pepsi and he was soon having the screen full of  different Diet Pepsi cans and bottles.
He got a reply 5 minutes after he sent the requisition. “We don't have Diet Pepsi. We only have Diet Coke & Coke Zero” Well, I prepfer to drink piss then and Captain cancelled our FIZZ drink order. I kept myself busy in my office preparing my last loading plan for Singapore. 12,000 MT of Jet Fuel at SHELL Bukom and we're off to Australia. I was in my office when Captain came to disturb me. He asked if I wanted to join Maersk Rhode Island with him at the end of November. - Where? - In Europe - Europe in November? Sounds like a great place! I applied to Maersk because I wanted to work in Asia, not in Europe. We went to check out Maersk Rhode Island on the internet. Seems like she is trading in Mediterranean so this is OK during the winter, not too cold. But I want to stay in Asia, within 3 or 5 hours flight from FUNKY TOWN.  Maersk Rhode Island

I had time for a quick FLAX SEED SURPRISE when the other had their coffee break, good to be back on track with my healthy life. I started my day with French toast, there was no black bread so I had no choice. I asked mess man if we had black bread and he brought me 3 slices of frozen bread. All natural so the bread starts to mould after 2 days and we need to keep it frozen, same with my Pumpernickel back home. As soon as I open the pack I must finish the bread. I asked our Mess man if he could have 2 slices ready for me in the morning. - No problem! - That's the spirit I'm looking for. Captain started to scream from his seat - 2 SLICES FOR ME TO!!!
I could not help myself, it just flew out of my mouth - Fer foocks sake, are you going to foock up our black bread with nutella I don't know if I have mentioned it, Captain and I have a deal, we will keep an eye on each other’s eating habits. The other day I was looking for him and I came to the bridge. The bridge was empty and I was about to turn around and leave when I saw him in the chair. Gazing out in the blue while chewing chocolate cookies like a wood chipper.  My lunch 7th of August 2012 - Just to show you how serious I am with my diet.
I also read my Thai books at the lunch break, and this is my new routines from now on. After noon snack was apples , a pear and 2 bananas. I was going for a FLAX SEED SURPRISE, but our Mess man was cleaning the floor in the galley, so fruit it was. Pump man removed the hydraulic pipe to our stb ballast pump this morning and our Fitter had made a new pipe. Our Pump man and 2 OS put back the pipe and now they had to fill up the hydraulic pipe with oil again. Open the vents on deck while filling to get all the air out of the pipe before w e would put 200 bars to the pipe to test the new pipe. When the pipe was refilled with oil we pressured the pipe to 200 bars and it was all OK and we turned off the system and I went to get 2 apples before going for my constitutional.

Yes, you read it right. I'm off for a evening constitutional on deck with my iPod. Of course, I was late because of the hydraulic pipe adventure. And WOW! It was really nice and relaxing to
The crew went ashore after dinner and our Captain promised to buy Diet Pepsi for me. I asked our 2nd Engineer if he could find me a real tea mug. - I will get one, Captain said - You don't send a girl to do a man's job, I said. - I called you and I asked if you wanted a glass or mug? - Never mind, but the size matters! I said. He had been ashore in Dampier, Australia to buy me a drinking vessel for my tea. It is a great drinking vessel, but if I have a chance to get something bigger I take the chance. And later on in the evening I remembered that I needed lip balm. I called the bridge and I asked our new 3rd Officer if he could call Captain to ask if he could get 5 lip balms for me. We got some stores delivered in the evening and when I had checked the stuff I went for my shower. I have a bottle of water in my cabin that I will enjoy while writing some stupid things on my web page, and I might watch a movie before going to bed. +++++++++++++++
Wednesday 8th of August 2012 and I had expected us to get our Pilot at 9 o'clock. But they had changed Pilot boarding time to 13:30. Really not much to do for the crew and I had them to do   some painting. I sent the Bosun and some of the crew to get a rest, all crew needed when we arrive  and they need some rest before the arrival action.
What a point less day, and it was going to get worse. Our Pump man and I had finished the pre arrival tests before lunch. But now the Pilot was cancelled and we had no information of what so ever. I was bored to death, no idea to start off with something. Well, at least I finished my Thai books and I made a monthly report of the status on deck to send to the company. Our pump man was  busy painting valves on deck so it looks good if we have the vetting inspection in Australia. The AB and OS was painting deck.
I went to the bridge at 3 o'clock and the latest news is that the Pilot will board us at 9 o'clock tonight. So I called Pump man and I told him to go have some rest. I also told the OS to go for some rest and from now on it was only the AB on watch painting on deck. And the crew will hopefully be full of vim when the pilot arrive tonight.

It will be so nice to get alongside so we can complete the loading and get out of here. I tried to get an hour of sleep in the afternoon and I woke up 5 minutes before dinner time and I'm ready
I started to watch a movie in my cabin after the dinner trying  to kill time waiting for the Pilot. The movie wasn't all that exciting and I paused the movie and I turned on some Skånsk Hip Hop.
I went to the bridge at 9 but the pilot would not come onboard until 21 thirty and I returned to my cabin to finish my movie. Our Pilot was onboard when I came to the bridge and we were heaving up our anchor. Our new 3rd Officer left the bridge and we started to move towards SHELL Bukom to load aour last parcel of jet fuel.  Finally, heaving up our anchor
We connected 2 tug boats on our way to SHELL Bukom and we had our first line ashore around 11  o'clock and we had all fast at jetty #5 at 23:30.
We discovered water around the fridge as soon as we turned on the light on the bridge when we had all fast. Captain came running  with a mop and the water was gone in a jiff and I went down to my office to wait for our Loading Master and Surveyor.

Surveyor came onboard with our SHELL Expediter, but no sign of the Loading Master. I was told that they had a shift change ashore and we didn't expect our Loading Master to be onboard for quite some times. Well, our Surveyor and Pump man started with the ullage and sampling. +++++++++++++++
Thursday 9th of August 2012 and we started to load the last parcel at 02:12 and they told me that we could expect a loading rate of 100m³/h and we will not be able to leave here until late tomorrow night.
I was back in bed around 4 o'clock in the morning and I woke up at 9 thirty. I went down to the CCR to see when we would be ready. And it looks like we will complete loading at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I went to the day room where the Engineers had their coffee break. And I had not had much sleep and I almost fell asleep so I decided to go back to bed. It might be a long night and I'm better off preparing myself with a POWER nap. I woke up at 2 o'clock and I went to the CCR and I prepared all the paper work and when we  completed loading at 15:48 I had all paper ready, well, at least all the paper work I could finish wit out knowing final quantities.
Calculation and paper work was ready at 18:00 and now we just had to wait for the cargo documents and the Loading Master. The clock turned 8 and no sign of the Loading Master. Our SHELL  Expediter told us that we might have to wait until after midnight for the Pilot. Not any good news, we really wanted to leave Singapore.
There is another ship on jetty #7 and she is leaving at 22:00 and we might have to wait for her tug boats and Pilot before we can leave. But we were lucky, when the Loading Master came onboard with the cargo documents 20 minutes past 8 o'clock he told us that the Pilot was ordered for 21 thirty. Good, we have plenty time to finish everything before the Pilot will come onboard. I finished in my office 20 minutes past 9 and I was looking for Captain. I called the bridge to see if he was there. - He is on A-deck, port side
I went out on deck and there he was with his wife and daughter watching the fire work over Singapore. They have been flying around with helicopters with huge Singaporean flags for the last week and all the tug boats and bunker barges are flying all signal flags available in the masts. And today there is some fireworks. Well, flying around in helicopters and fire work, what a waste of resources. But, well, we will soon have destroyed the globe so let's throw in a few formula 1 races and the next generation will really be grateful for the shit we leave behind for them.  9th of August 2012 - Singapore's national day and we can finally leave Singapore behind Leaving jetty #5 at SHELL Bukom - Our tug boat is leaving
We saw the Pilot boat from deck and we went to the bridge so we could get out of here. We left jetty #5 at SHELL Bukom behind without any Diet Pepsi onboard. Ship chandler failed to deliver and our crew was ashore the other day and no Diet Pepsi to be found. Pepsi Nex was available, but i had Papsi Nex in Korea last year and I promised myself never to buy any Pepsi Nex again. Well, after a few days of salad and flaxseeds my diet turned in to a disaster. Yes, I know, but I'm not going to toss a salad 4 o'clock in the morning. And when I woke up there was only fresh buns and nutella with a cup of tea. I could have had some leftovers from the lunch, but the fresh buns and nutella seemed like a better alternative. Well, we're on the way to Australia and we give it a new try tomorrow. Easier to get back to my flaxseeds routines when I don't have to be up and about 24 foocking 7. Well, what and opportunity this is, to split the month of August in to 2 with the start of my new diet tomorrow. So let's swing over to more excitements in August 2012 - Part 2! OK, it has come to my knowledge that we have senior citizens visiting my web page. How hard can it  be? So it's not very easy for them to see the blue coloured links to the next page.
