 Thursday 16th of March 2023 and my friend call me to tell me that they are going to Wat Nong Prachum (วัดหนองประชุม) in Kanchanaburi tomorrow. They had picked up the car today at 09:09 and they had asked the salesman again. Now it was no problem to leave Bangkok with the red plates on the car. He was very happy that he can go ahead to do the Car Anointing (เจิอมรถยน) and he will pick me up at 6 o'clock tomorrow morning and we will leave for Kanchanaburi. He sent me pictures and videos from the car dealer    +++++++++++++++
Friday 17th of March 2023 and my friend call me at 5 thirty to tell me that they are leaving Samut Prakan and they will be here just after six o'clock. I had a quick breakfast and I was quite exciting to leave for Wat Nong Prachum (วัดหนองประชุม) in Kanchanaburi with my friend's new car.
And it will be fun to experience the car anointing (เจิอมรถยน), or car blessing. And we will meet our friend Luang Poo Tong Krum (หลวงพ่อทองคำ) that will bless the car, so it promises to be an exciting day in Kanchanaburi.
And I suspect that my friend will also buy some Thai Buddha amulets (พระเครื่อง) as he is crazy about the Luang Poo Jim (หลวงปู่เฒ่ายิ้) amulets. My friend updates me via LINE and I go down to the parking and we are soon on the way towards Wat Nong Prachum (วัดหนองประชุม) in Kanchanaburi and we expect to arrive around 9 o'clock. My friend's new car is huge and it is comfy in the back seat. And the car is quiet and nice to sit in so I think it is a good car. And of course, one of the first thing he did was to put Luang Poo Tuad (ลวงปู่ทวด) My friend was very happy with the car and he was very exciting to get the car blessed. We will start by blessing the car as the restaurant open at 10 thirty. Luang Poo Tong Krum (หลวงพ่อทองคำ) is not allowed to eat after 12 o'clock so this will be perfect. Some “holy” equipment is needed and we take the 5 minutes’ drive to the birth place of Luang Poo Jim (หลวงปู่เฒ่ายิ้) to pick up some things and we drive back to the temple.  We arrive to the temple

Luang Poo Tong Krum (หลวงพ่อทองคำ) started to prepare when we were back at Wat Nong Prachum (วัดหนองประชุม). Holy water was needed and some powder and ointment. He will start by writing on the hood of the car and I was ready with my camera, every second needs to be documented. Writing on the hood and then a holy flower up front. He will put ointment inside the car and then he will stick gold to the ointment. And then he will splash holy water on the car.  Holy water

   The car was blessed and we took off to the restaurant that we had visited last time we were in Kanchanaburi. The timing was perfect, we will reach the TARA VILLA RIVERKWAI RESORT just a few minutes after they have opened and Luang Poo Tong Krum (หลวงพ่อทองคำ) will be ready with his meal before 12 o'clock. We found the place, we found it by accident last time when we looked for the restaurant, we had been to at our first visit to Kanchanaburi. We found the restaurant and we took our seats and we got the menus.  Ready to leave for the restaurant

 Food is coming
     The food was very good as expected since we have been here before. Luang Poo Tong Krum (หลวงพ่อทองคำ) was very happy with the food and he finished with ice cream and some apple stuff. I had had a plate with sausages and a high tea or whatever they call it. And of course, a couple of pots with tea. We said good bye and I will not be surprised to find myself at this restaurant again. We drove back to Wat Nong Prachum to drop Luang Poo Tong Krum before we drive back to Bangkok and I expect to be back home at 4 o'clock  Leaving Luang Poo at Wat Nong Prachum
