Seriously, how stupid can you be? UBER is readily available and a car is never more than a few minutes away. Obviously don't understand what is going on around him. Of course, I booked  the car for 4 o'clock so we should be able to make Hanging Garden and the Flamingo Point before it would get dark. The helpful staff in the reception called a new UBER for me and while waiting I down loaded the program to my phone. I discovered that I could register a credit card so I registered my AMEX card. Now it only remains to try it out, maybe tomorrow. Delayed and I was not happy to miss valuable birding time. My new UBER arrived and I got in to  the car. Now the car I booked yesterday arrived and I flipped the bird to the waving driver behind the wheel. Maybe he learned something, but I doubt it.
We were soon on our way to the Hanging Garden. And I say it again, Bombay could easily have been one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We drove by some amazing areas. Apartment blocks looking like castles. Amazing, just to clean up the city and put some paint on it. We arrived to the Hanging Garden and I asked my driver to wait for me and we would go to the Sewri Flamingo Point after the Hanging Garden  On the NW side of the park you’re at an EYE TO EYE level with the birds

There were a lot of people in the park and I guess you have to be here early morning if you want to look for birds. Millions of crows that made a terrible noise. I could also hear a lot of Parakeets and I saw them flying around. I heard Asian Koels and a lot of other birds, of course, the Common Myna. Walking around the Hanging Garden and I stayed on the sides as this was the area with trees. Middle of the park had some trees with flowers but I never saw any birds in this area. Maybe because of all the people visiting the place.
The park is located on a terrace so the NW side of the park is elevated above the road and trees below. So you are on an eue to eye level with the birds in top of the trees.  There are Raptors flying around all over Bombay

I spent an hour or so in the Hanging Garden, my UBER car was waiting outside and when I was ready here we would go to Sewri Flamingo Point. And we had to get there before it was getting dark. I found my car outside Hanging Garden and we were soon on our way.  It was dark when we arrived to Sewri Flamingo Point. Still plenty Flamingos but it was too dark. There was a little Heron sitting on a wooden pole, but the batteries to my flash went flat and I returned to the hotel. Time for dinner and some sleep, another exciting day tomorrow.  Sun is setting over Bombay and it is time to go home
I was back at the hotel and I went to the restaurant before I went to my room. It was late and I looked through today's photos before I went to bed. Wake-up call at 05:30 tomorrow morning as usually and I need sleep. A new exciting day tomorrow and you just need to click HERE to find out about everything we will learn. I won't be surprised to learn that it will be yet another fun day.
