We will be back at Sathorn (Central) Pier @ 17:00. The trip will set me back by 599 Bath, includes Boat cruise, English speaking tour guide, Drinking water, insurance + VAT
I had my alarm to go off at 7 and it was surprisingly easy to get out of bed. So I guess that I was looking forward to this tour. I had a bread and a cup of tea before I left for Sathorn in a taxi.
Why I didn't took the sky train and subway? Well, Sunday morning and there is not much traffic. And I reached the Sathorn Pier in a few minutes. I walked towards the ticket counter and I had expected to see a group or something like that for the temple tour. It was 10 minutes before 9 o'clock but there were no sign of any temple tour that I could see.
I asked at the ticket counter and I'm not quite sure they understood me. The girl said that the boat had left 6 o'clock in the morning
I told her that it said 9 o'clock on the internet and they had told me 9 on the phone as well. Then she said 9 thirty, but 9 thirty is the time the blue flagged tourist boat service to start.
I looked around for any notes or information about the temple tour, there was nothing and I went to sit down. Maybe someone is coming in the last minute. Well, I had a chat with a couple of French tourists. They spoke foock all English and they needed some information about the Chao Phraya Express Boat. They were going to the Grand Palace.
And well, I have turned in to a kind of expert on the Chao Phraya Express Boat the last 2 weeks. So by the help of my shirt (to show the different colours) and hand signs I managed to get them on the orange flagged boat.
I was soon giving up waiting for the temple tour and I left to look for a taxi. There were a few groups outside the station, but this was ordinary tours and they had nothing to do with the temple tour.
I found a taxi and I was soon on my way back home again. I had, not only got out of bed very early. I had also wasted time and money to come for the tour.
But the worst was my diet, I knew I would go up early so I had bought a bread yesterday for a quick breakfast. And when I bought the bread I bought an extra bread that I had enjoyed yesterday evening. So on top of everything I had foocked up my diet as well.

Well, what to say? A disappointment!
What a waste of time and money this turned out to be. I had called them and it was 9 o'clock every Sunday. I called them when I was back home. The number above was not working and I had to find a new number.
They told me that I had to book 3 days before and as there had been no people they had cancelled the temple tour yesterday. Well, so I will have to book 3 days in advance and then hope for them to find enough people to fill up the boat.

But I had been lucky, very lucky. I was back home and I spent an hour on the phone when I was hit by a pain in my stomach and soon after I was hit by a fewer. Imagine me on a temple tour now. I slept all day long, well, when I was not puking without anything to throw up. I woke up at 7 o'clock in the evening feeling a wee bit better. I was soon asleep again and my friend called me 9 o'clock Monday morning, we cancelled the boxing. I will hopefully feel better in the evening so I can go to my Thai school.
I spent 4 days in bed, well, I was kind of OK on Monday but I cancelled the boxing. When my friend came for the Tuesday boxing session he told me I was pale, very pale. But we had a terrible boxing session. Wednesday was OK but I needed energy and I ended up at the Tohkai Japanese Restaurant on Prasanmit Plaza.
Steak and cabbage and 2 bowls of ice cream and I felt like a million again.
Well, almost anyway, I finished my Japanese meal and I went to buy olive oil at Tops Market. I was back for my daily 2 to 2 and a half hour constitutional in Benjasiri Park next to Emporium. It felt good to be back in the track looking at beautiful girls in the park.
I moved out all my old CDs, I gave them to the maids at the condo. They came up to clear my apartment from all my CDs. They brought a bag, but they were soon to realize that a bag would not be enough. So they brought more nags and two big boxes. Nice to finally get rid of all this shit. I also threw all my slides, thousands of them.
Getting out of bed was more than constitutionals and boxing sessions. I ended up eating with my friend, another friend called and wanted to go drink beer on Friday. Well, haven't we have had enough of the beer drinking? OK, I can have a San Miguel Light or two. But not more
I was at Bangkok Buddy Travel Service. I was looking for Jack Golf, but this is obviously Bangkok Buddy Travel Service now a days. Well, anyway, I went to book a VISA run to Poi Pet in Cambodia. Leaving Sunday coming back on Wednesday. I booked hotel, just to have to cancel when I was back home from my evening constitutional in the Benjasiri Park.
I will join Romoe Maersk (Romø Mærsk) at Point Tupper in Canada. And that sounds like a very cold place. A quick check on the internet and it was -2°C, well, not too bad.
Drinking beer, I had planned for a beer, maximum 2. But when we left Hemingway's on Sukhumvit Soi 14 I had been drinking 7 or 8 bottles of San Miguel Light. Yes, the beer is good and we wanted more San Miguel Light so we continued to Beer Garden on Soi 7. A sad place and I have not been there for many years.
It was kind of nice to come back and see it, for sure, Beer Garden on Soi 7 must be one of the oldest places in Bangkok still running. World famous and people (Sex tourists, the girls at the beer garden is not there because they like the decoration or music) coming to Bangkok are looking for beer garden. Looked almost te same as last time I was there, but they have a DJ now, and that was a pleasant surprise. Good music and as an old friend said to me a few years back: “Bangkok is the best, same music as when you were 20 and girls at the same age as when you were 20”
DJ and good music, we stayed for 2 beers before we took the short-cut to Sukhumvit Soi 11 and we ended up at a lobby bar in a hotel. Well, lobby bar, it is more like a disco. This is the kind of lobby bar I like and this is maybe the best ever lobby bar I have been to. Well, if you have had a case of San Miguel Light that it. Not a place I would come to have a soda water at.
But after a few bottles of San Miguel Light it is very OK. We ended up at a place with live music and I really don't know what time it was when I was back home.
I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up, the hangover was not so bad and my friend arrived around 1 o'clock for 10 rounds of boxing exercises. Of course, I could feel that I had a few San Miguel Light yesterday. But I got through the session and I was soon on my way to New Cowboy Bar & Restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 22 for breakfast. Maybe the best breakfasts available in Bangkok at New Cowboy Bar & Restaurant. So this was something I was looking forward to.
I was soon sitting at a table and I asked for Tia, the Cook. If you go to New Cowboy, MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR TIA, otherwise a 5 star experience is easily turning in to a 1 star experience. But I got hold of Tia and I was enjoying a cup of tea while reading Bangkok Post waiting for my food. They brought 2 plates and I was quick to sweep the food over to one plate. Of course, it looks better with one plate
It was good food and when I was ready I got in to a taxi to get to Homepro. We came to Asoke and the traffic was at full stop towards Ratchadapisek. The driver suggested that I should take the subway, right, I got out of the taxi and I took the subway towards Homepro.
I was looking for a carpet washer and I decided to try my luck at Central Rama 9 and I got off the subway at Rama 9 station. No carpet washers available, but they had ice cream and I bought a new LG phone. I finally had it with my Samsung S5, nothing but shit.
So I decided to buy an LG D855 and I will give my Samsung S5 to my friend. Well, 2 ice creams at Mc Donalds. Dairy Queen was out of ice cream, yeah, that was a disappointment. I was back home at 8 and now I have to kill 8 hours as I will walk down to the Korean Town at 4 o'clock tomorrow morning. The van to Poi Pet will take off at 5 and I will hopefully be back home 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
And yes, there was a stupid e-mail with a picture from Terminal 21. We stopped to have some ice cream and crepes at Sweenesens or whatever the place is called. Looked excellent in the menu but the real thing was another story.
Sweden 2015 - Responsible Politicians should be prosecuted for having destroyed Sweden
Rumanian and Bulgarian beggars coming to Sweden, and no one does anything to get them out of Sweden
Sweden, once one of the cleanest and most beautiful countries in the world. Now a piss and shit infested, stinking country and instead of ban begging they just let more and more of these people in to the country.
Other countries in EU have forbidden these Rumanians to beg on their streets so everyone is coming to Sweden. What a disgrace! They are laughing in the rest of Europe. The interviewed a EU Politician and he was pissing himself laughing when they asked him:
- Where are they going when you ban begging?
- To Sweden!
Time to ban this in Sweden and to kick out all these people from Sweden.
Well, time to take off to Poi Pet, and you just have to click HERE to find yourself in the middle of that adventure. Poi Pet, I guess it looks more and more like Sweden day by day. Dirt, filth, despair and poverty for as long as you can see.
OK, it has come to my knowledge that we have senior citizen visiting my web page. How hard can it be? So it's not very easy for them to see the blue coloured links to the next page.
