No longer any need to use the Internet Explorer or run the Internet Explorer rendering engine. I gave up IE after the introduction of Internet Explorer 11
  Page is tested in Fire Fox, Chrome and Safari. Looks like it works OK in all browsers, except the sounds in Safari. Of course, browsing www.aladdin.st in Safari on an iPad is a different story, nothing looks as it should   Friday 8th of March 2013 and it was 9 o'clock when I left Suvarnabhumi behind. We had stopped  at Family Mart to buy some Diet MAX, San Miguel Light (for the taxi ride) and some  orange flavoured drinking yogurt for tomorrow morning. I can imagine how I'm  going to feel tomorrow and always “1 step ahead”
We were soon stopping the car, we passed a coffee shop at a toll station and I had to get in to the trunk for more San Miguel Light. The San Miguel light disappears very quickly and I had to bring out more beer. I took the opportunity to have a few drag on a coffin nail  before we continued towards Sukhumvit Road Soi 23. I was home around 9 thirty or 10 and I called my Teacher for the fighting times for tomorrow.
Well, our hero had hurt his foot and the fight was cancelled, now he will have a fight for the 15th  of March. Darn, I could as well have stayed behind in Kuala Lumpur to have get married to the girl interrogating me.
It was 11 before I left for Sukhumvit Soi 11 and this Soi have really changed. Plenty bars and night clubs. Back in the days there was only Bed Super club, but now there were millions of places and most of them required panta longas. Well, Soi 11 was a pleasant surprise and I was back home much later than expected. OK, I had not expected to go out at all after all the failures to get catch some sleep during the day. +++++++++++++++
Saturday 9th of March 2013 and I spent most of the day in bed watching hangover DVDs and when I finally got out of bed I had 2 quick bottles of Baileys and a little ice cream and I was ready to take on FUNKY TOWN's night life again.

Sunday 10th of March 2013 and I spent the whole day in bed watching hangover DVDs. Of course, on minimum volume avoiding to disturb the neighbours. So if you know that you have embarrassed  your neighbours with music during the weekend you're better off waiting a few days to play the below video. This video should be enjoyed at full volume.

Yes, neighbours, I remember when I went to visit some of the crew from Rainbow Warrior in Rome a few years ago. The entertainment centre left a lot to wish for. But even though it was the smallest CD played I had ever seen there was complains from the neighbours.  Our friend from Greenpeace entertainment centre

Monday 11th of March 2013 and I had a guy to come to show me new fabrics for my sofa, nothing I liked so it was a waste of time. As soon as he left I went to TOPS market at Robinsons where I  bought onion, apples, sesame seeds and smoked salmon. I walked back home and I had a quick smoked salmon before I left for Sukhumvit Soi 40 to have a look at fabrics.
When we arrived to Sukhumvit Soi 40 I realised that this wasn't the soi, I was here before going to my courses in India last November.  - Hmm, was it Soi 42?
I told the driver to take me to Soi 42 and we found the place. I found some fabrics and they would see if they had them in stock. Imported fabrics so they don't  know until tomorrow and if they have the fabric it will take them 3 months to get the fabrics to Thailand.
I took a taxi back home and the car was  full of VISA and Master Card stickers. I got in to the taxi and now I have seen it in Thailand, Monday the 11th of March 2013 goes down the history books at the first time I have  seen a Bangkok taxi accepting credit cards.
I got out of the taxi at my local 7 Eleven and I bought 2 croissants and a bottle of orange flavoured drinking yogurt. I had a very quick snack before I changed clothes and I was soon on my way to Sophia Muay Thai Gym. My first day of boxing since I left for Britta Maersk so I gave it a slow start trying to avoid all  the pain tomorrow. But when I came to Bangkok Fight Club in the evening we do the training in group so taking it “SLOW” was not an  option if I wanted to avoid the “look at Porky” nasty glances. So I was about to die a few times during
 our session at Bangkok Fight Club. And yes, we started right away with the darn Thai navy exercise.
Then it was running around, pushing a tyre and then we had a track   with boxing gloves. We started with a football practice, nice, this was not very hard and I did it in 25 seconds and the others did it in 29 seconds.
More than 30 seconds and we had to do  penalty push ups. When it was my turn my Teacher asked how long time I needed.
- A minute? - Up to you, I said and I took off with the ball kicking arse. This was painless and I was in a good mood. But as soon as we were ready with the ball the hell started. Now we had to jump around the steeplechase course made out of boxing gloves on one leg. First the  right leg and then the left and we finished with jumping around like a frog.
Then we had to do somersaults around the steeplechase course made out of boxing gloves. I get sick doing somersaults so I was just running and then we  did 40 quick punches on the punching mitts. This we had to do 2 or 3 times and I was feeling  like I was going to die.
We finished the session at 9 o'clock, what happened with the 8 thirty completion. Yes, we got 30 minutes of bonus exercise, but today I would not have minded to get 30 minutes less. I need a few days with slow start after 10 weeks on board Britta Maersk. But I was lucky, no squat downs and I'm expecting to be back tomorrow and I will be back to my original schedule, 5 days per week. Plus 5 days per week at Sophia, well, I will have to see the schedule on the Thai  language school. I have paid for my course so in order to avoid making this a complete waste of money I will have to attend class trying to pick up some Thai.

Tuesday 12th of March 2013 and my body was aching when I got out of bed at 8 o'clock. I went to my session at Sophia Muay Thai Gym at 3 o'clock and we did a few very slow rounds. I could hardly move and my Teacher suggested a massage. They have a new Teacher at Sophia and he is giving everyone massage. My Teacher suggested that I should give it a try. It was very painful and I was soon asking him to stop.
No more training for me today and I decided to cancel tonight's session at Bangkok Fight Club. I'm better off taking it easy the first few days or I will end up with pain every day.  Massage at Sophia Muay Thai Gym

Well, I could hardly move when I was ready with the massage. Of course, my sore and aching body  was nothing I took any notioice of any more. Now  it was the terrible pain after the massage on my mind. I crawled out of the ring and I limped back home.
The American girl had the Teacher to walk on her back before she started her session, so massage is obviously the latest thing at Sophia Muay Thai Gym. The owner and my teacher had their massage so I guess this was the reason for me to say yes. Something I regretted less than 2 seconds after the massage started. Well, I will hopefully be able to go full ahead at Sophia and Bangkok Fight Club tomorrow, but I doubt that it is because of the massage. Was that a massage, I don't know. Or was I just being mugged?
I had my shower and “TUNA & ONION SURPRISE” ® when I was back home and I walked to Bangkok Fight Club, not for my session, but to pay the monthly fee. They have increased the fee  from 4500 to 5000 Baht. Well, it is way better than to spend 2000 Baht per evening at the Argentinean restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 19.
I walked to Emporium from Bangkok Fight Club, I was at Almeta earlier during the day to check out silk upholstery for my armchairs and sofa. I found some very colourful material, but I decided to check our Jim Robinson's, or is it Tomson? The famous silk guy in Thailand, former CIA Agent that was most likely killed. Well, anyway I went to check out the shop at Emporium but they had closed at 9. I can swear that it said 10 on their web page. Well, anyway, I had called Almeta and they will come to my condo tomorrow to have a look at my sofa and arm chairs. I wanted to have fabric with patterns so I told them that I would go look  somewhere else. But on my way home from Sophia  I came up with an idea.
I will use red silk for the sofa and armchairs, goes well with the brown leather. Then I will use orange and yellow for the cushions. But I might change my mind. The people from Tower 42 have not called me back as they had promised. I had found some fabric and they would check if the fabric was  available, but nothing and I take my business elsewhere.
So I'm looking forward to have the people from Almeta coming at 10 thirty tomorrow. And 10 thirty will be the first test, if they are in time the chances for a good job done increase. I will hopefully  soon have new upholstery on my living room furniture and now we only wait for the first one to spill a drink in the sofa. Not possible to clean silk so then we do the change of upholstery all over again. Nothing to look forward to, but I will never get the time to grow tired of the colours.

Wednesday 13th of March 2013 and the staff from Almeta was supposed to be here at 10 thirty and as there had been no sign off them at 11 I called the shop.
- We were there at 10 thirty - Did you ask for Aladdin? - Yes, but no one knew you I had told them to ask for Aladdin, everyone knows where I live. I was just about to scream  something in the phone when I realised that it was all new security guards and no one knew me.
They arrived 20 to 30 minutes later and they started to take the measurements. And of course, I changed my mind and I chose some different colours and I won't be surprised if I'm going back to the shop to change my mind yet another time. Well, at least things are in motion. I almost fall asleep on top of my bed, but I managed to get out of bed in time and I left for Sophia. I felt better today but I took 2 Ibuprofen before I left. I actually decided to skip  Bangkok Fight Club to give my muscles one extra day of rest.
But I felt better when I came back home from Sophia Muay Thai Gym and I decided to make  it to Bangkok Fight Club. But first I had to have my “TUNA & ONION SURPRISE” ® and a pot of tea.
The agony would have been unbearable if I had decided to skip today's session. I took off to Bangkok Fight Club and I arrived 5 minutes before 7. Only the Teacher and his daughter and when it was 10 minutes  past 7 we were still alone and we started the boxing session.
We started with shadow boxing and then we punched the mitts and it was soon time to go home again.
I bought 2,2 kg of whey protein the other day and I had a protein shake and a glass of flaxseeds with electrolyte before having my shower. Good to be back in my old “good eating” habits. I have bought chilli so I start my day with chilli and I end my day with chilli. 2 “Flaxseed
And I also got my schedule from my Thai language school today and I will start school at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and I will be late for Sophia Muay Thai Gym tomorrow. +++++++++++++++
Thursday 14th of March 2013 and I arrived to My Thai Language School 15 minutes before 1 o'clock. The Teacher told me it was a beginners class.
- When is the class for book II? - Tuesday 13:30 to 18:00 - OK, I see you then I took the subway back home and I called Sophia Muay Thai Gym to see if I could come at 3. As I  had planned to be in school we had postponed the session to 4 o'clock.
I had 2 apples before I left for my session at Sophia Muay Thai Gym. My Teacher had called me and he told me to be there at 3 thirty instead of 3 o'clock. A quick “TUNA & ONION SURPRISE” ® and a pot of tea when I was back home and I was off to Bangkok Fight Club. We were 4 guys and our Teacher today. There was one French girl coming but she left again after 2 minutes. Bangkok Fight Club, not the place to be if you want to do or learn boxing. That's why I go to Sophia Muay Thai Gym. Sparring every day, at Bangkok Fight Club it is mostly exercises that I could have done for free at home. But at Bangkok Fight Club we are in group, just what I need. If I would have been doing this alone at home I would most likely have ended up in bed reading comics.

Of course, we did the darn Thai Navy Exercise and several other exercises to warm up. Then we were running around with a huge punch bag and we kicked and punched. I thought I was going to  die a few times during the session when my pulse reached 500.
At home, alone, I would never have reached 500 heart beats per minute. Reaching 110 and I would  have given up, but at Bangkok Fight Club I'm under a constant “group pressure” and when my pulse reached 250 and I'm about to die it is just to continue.
Or to lose face, the rest of the group watching me wondering when I will give up/ get a cardiac arrest/ fall down dead on the floor. So it is good  for me even if it is painful, and I can already feel the difference from the first day last Monday and today. And most of the stiffness and pain is gone by now so it feels better.
I walked back home and I had my protein shake, flaxseeds with electrolyte and my chillies. I was about to leave for 7 Eleven to buy a  pack of coffin nails and some Diet MAX, but I changed my mind when I got out of the shower. No more cigarettes for me. Hopefully
I still have the nico chew I bought before leaving for Britta Maersk and I will start using them by now. I should have  started yesterday, but I ended up at 7 Eleven 11 o'clock yesterday evening.
I was back home with a pack of fags and 3 bottles of Diet MAX and I don't want to do the same mistake today. But I won't be surprised to find my self at 7 Eleven again. +++++++++++++++
Friday 15th of March 2013 and I woke up at 8 o'clock, 1 hour before my alarm was set to go off.  I had planned to go to have my vaccinations at Bumrungrad hospital. The would come here from Almeta to check my sofa yet again at 12. But then I would have  had to sit home and wait wasting my day.
So I changed it to 14 thirty, just before taking off to Sophia. I took a taxi to Bumrungrad to have my Tetanus & Diphtheria vaccination. I also asked for the Japanese  Encephalitis as my vaccination expired November '13.
When I took my Japanese Encephalitis at Bumrungrad at 2010 they told me it was for life. When I was back in December '12 they told me it was for 3 years only. And today the Doctor told me it was for 4 years, of course, after I had got the shot for the Japanese Encephalitis. I asked the Doctor, and yes, he recognised me since I was here last time. - Ah, you're back! When I got my vaccination I asked if there was something else he recommended.  - Typhoid
He gave me a shot against typhoid as well and I went to pay. 4010 Baht for 3 shots and I will have to come back in a month for my second shot for Tetanus. I walked back to Robinson at soi 19 and I bought apples and onions before I  walked back home with a stop at Almeta to change the colours on the silk yet again. Now it will be full red with yellow piping. And no, it is not because it is the colours of Skåne. But red and yellow is a very beautiful combination. So cushions & the back will be red and the inside will be a range going from red to yellow via orange
 And checking the internet before leaving for Sophia and I discover that the government had been upset by a video on Saturday Night Live. - Wått's dö madderfakking diil? I thought and I started to look around for the video. I found the video, it was not easy, most of them was not available for view from my “location” But I found the video and I started to watch the darn thing, I was just gaping and yes “Wått's dö madderfakking diil?” It was not fun and I thought it was a waste of time, until I came to the end. The usual Good Day bullshit from satisfied customer learnt to say Good Day in different language and suddenly: - I need to speak with the American Embassy I pissed myself screaming of laughter and the same thing when I picked myself up from the floor watching it the second time. Well, here it is, will I go to jail for making it available? Well, prison or not, I have to take off to Sophia for my session even though I wanted to stay home. Pain in my legs and arms. We did the squat downs at Bangkok Fight Club yesterday and I have pain in my thigh. Not very bad, I had prepared myself with squat downs onboard Britta Maersk. But still, it was pain full to sit down. Back home and I had a shower before leaving for Bangkok Fight Club. I skipped my “TUNA &  ONION SURPRISE” ® because I had some sausages before leaving for Sophia. I had bought  onions and apples at Tops and I put some sausages in my shopping cart.
Yes, is seems like I have to get food as soon as I'm more than a few hundred meters from the boxing clubs. I was alone at Bangkok Fight Club again. My Teacher had brought his daughter but today she was mostly interested  in playing with some game. So I and my Teacher took turns with the punch mitts.
We gave up 8 o'clock and we had a  chat and my Teacher started with the Hula Hoop and he got the ring  turning like there was no tomorrow.
And of course, he wanted me to try, and his daughter insisted so I gave it a try while my Teacher took pictures. Yes, he is still crazy for pictures for his Facebook even though he is older than 30. The darn Hula Hoop ring was mostly on the floor when I tried. But, I'm not at Bangkok Fight Club for the Hula Hoop.  At Bangkok Fight Club
Friday night and I was back home from Bangkok Fight Club with pain in my arms and legs and go out to drink beer was out of the question. And I will be at Sophia Muay Thai Gym 2 o'clock tomorrow
My last holiday was terrible, no Bangkok Fight Club and I was visiting restaurants every evening. Well, anyway, I stopped at my local 7 Eleven on my way home and I asked for 3 cases of San Miguel Light. But they only had a few cans and I asked why.
- It is only you drinking San Miguel Light I tried Tops online shop when I was back home, only possible to order 12 bottles so I gave up. I will go to Tops tomorrow and I will buy 3 cases and ask them to deliver them to my place. And then I can as well buy 100 cans of tuna, if they have any in stock. Earlier today when I bought the apples and onion they only had 4 cans of tuna. So I hope they have re-stocked until tomorrow. +++++++++++++++
Saturday 16th of March 2013 and I can't say that I jumped out of bed when my alarm went off at  9 o'clock, I was very tired. I had my good morning “TUNA & ONION SURPRISE” ® and  a pot of tea before I left for Robinson and Tops Market on Sukhumvit Soi 19.
Takes me about 10 minutes to walk there and I was soaked  when I arrived. It is very hot, like I had expected it to be in April and May. And yesterday it was raining like I had expected it to rain during the rainy season.
Well, anyway, I went straight to the beer department and I asked a guy for 3 cases of San Miguel. They didn't had  3 cases and I asked for all the San Miguel Light they had. One of the staff went to get a shopping cart while I and the other guy was waiting.
This is a way better way to do the shopping  at Tops. Take the stuff and pay for it and then ask for “home delivery”
The online shop have been nothing but a disappointment. I have only manage to get 3 cases of San Miguel delivered  one time. And yes, 3 cases of San Miguel and not San Miguel Light so I had them to bring back the San Miguel beers that I had not ordered.
There was a guy coming up to the beer shelves while we waited for the guy coming with the shopping cart. He started to Mickey Mouse around with the San Miguel Light. I could not beleive my eyes, here we are waiting for the shopping cart and now this!  - HEY!!! What the 
- I leave a few for you, he said He only took 2 cans and I could take the rest , a mix of cans, small bottles and big bottles.

And as I was going to have the stuff delivered to me I could as well take the opportunity to buy  some tuna, 100 cans. And yes, I was yet again disappointed, they only had 15 cans and I bought all of them.
While in the tuna section there was a girl screaming ALADDIN behind me and when I turned around I discovered my Travel Agent. I asked
- 20500 Baht - Biz or monkey - Monkey I told he that I might go to Shanghai in April for my visa run. Yes, last year I said never again about Shanghai. But I got an e-mail from the Japanese girl in Shanghai. She had attached a picture of her “beauties” 
Of course, after seeing this picture I forgot all about the “Shanghai, never again” and I sent her an e-mail that I might be back in April, if the weather was fine. I'm for sure not going to bring any winter clothes.
Our hero had of course a slight hangover but nothing much to write home about. So he managed to talk and he must obviously have left an impression.   She only meet me drinking tea, how to put this, she has never meet the Obnoxious Man. And I'm   not sure, but pretty sure that she won't be impressed by the Obnoxious Man with the concrete hat on.
And believe me, I have done that, seen that before.  Going to meet some girl and I might have been under the influence. But most likely it has been motion sickness, there are some very bad taxi drivers around the world. First night and:

Or even worse, they want to call the Police. Going to Shanghai drinking responsibly, is this an option? For sure, the boredom would drive me to throw myself in front of a bus after not too long in Shanghai. As one girl wrote: You look very good (OK, I don't remember the exact wording) since you started with the boxing, but your web page is very boring. No more pictures of you sleeping on a bar with a stupid hat.  Maybe I'm better off swapping the Rosetta Stone Thai course for a Japanese/ Chinese language  course before leaving for Shanghai.

I stopped at my local 7 Eleven on my way home from Tops and I bought their whole stock of San Miguel Light. And when I was back home I just had time to change clothes before I was off  to Sophia Muay Thai Gym.
The American girl was in the ring sparring when I arrived to Sophia. I was soon  in the ring relieving the American girl to whup our Teacher's behind.
I don't know how many rounds we did, but I still have some pain in my arm and shoulders. But today is the last session for a few days. We will meet quarter to 1 at Sophia on Monday and we will take off to the American girl's fight. I might be back for the evening session at Bangkok Fight Club. Tuesday,  no boxing as I finish my Thai language school at 18:00 and I doubt that I will make it in time to Bangkok Fight Club.
Well, anyway, I will have a few days to rest. There was a lady and a young boy coming when  I was about to finish my session and he handed out Minute Maids. But I said no thanks as I'm on diet. But my Teacher force me to have a bottle.
We did a cool down round and I finished for today and the young boy entered the ring and he relieved me whupping our Teacher's behind.  Not an easy day for our Teacher

I could not have a shower when I came back home from Sophia because they were coming to deliver the San Miguel Light from Tops. They should be here around 4, but that means nothing so I had to  wait with my shower until I had got my beers from Tops.
They arrived quarter past 4 and I could have my shower  before leaving to buy hangover DVDs. If I buy the San Miguel Light I need some hangover DVDs.
I bought my DVDs and while waiting I went to the S&P restaurant, I had planned to go to the Argentinian restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi  19 but I was very hungry as I had missed my afternoon “TUNA & ONION SURPRISE” ®
I had a sausage platter with sauerkraut and chicken curry. And on top of that I had sticky rice & mango. OK, the sticky rice & mango wasn't doing any good for my diet, but the other food was not bad so I felt quite good when I left S&P. A  change from my normal agony when I'm leaving a restaurant.
I took a taxi to Sukhumvit Soi 19 to check out El Gaucho, the Argentinian restaurant. But there was so much people so I skipped my lamb chops and spinach and I walked back home. I pass an Australian restaurant walking back home from Bangkok  Fight Club and I decided to check it out. A very small restaurant, hardly any place to sit down. But the hamburger was very good. And they had Earl Grey tea, from a POT!
I was surprised to discover that the Steven Segal movies I  had bought was quite new. And Steve Segal was actually moving in the movies.
 A long time ago, watching a Steven Segal movie was a sure thing, non-stop action and Eastern mysticism. Then, maybe because he  turned old, or because he gained a few  100 kg and they were  forced to transport him around the set with a Bobcat and the action and Eastern mysticism was gone.
But these 2 movies I watched yesterday was a surprise, some of the Eastern mysticism was back, ok, just a hint and Steven  was in a few fights. Most of the time we saw him behind a desk or in his car. But there was a few seconds of action with Steven, something I had not seen in many years.

Sunday 17th of March 2013 and yes, I was watching Steven Segal until 3 o'clock in the morning so it took me 20 minutes to get out of bed to turn off my alarm when the darn thing went off at 9 o'clock. I took a taxi to Chatuchak in the afternoon and as always, I left after 20 minutes. Getting  a taxi to Chatuchak is not any problem, but to take a taxi back to Sukhumvit is another story.
Plenty people outside the weekend market and it is a hassle to get to Sukhumvit and I took the subway back to Sukhumvit. I walked to El Gaucho on Sukhumvit Soi 19 via Terminal 21. I had the creamed spinach and lamb chops before I walked back home. I decided to have an hour at one of the Thai Massage places when I came to Soi 23. Of course, I don't want any massage, but an hour of scratching would be nice and I took a seat next to a Japanese couple. The  Japanese couple had foot massage while one of the staff was scratching on me.
I was feeling peckish for some cake when I left and I decided to go to Pak Bakery for cake and tea. Halfway there I changed my mind. I was thinking about the almond croissants at Grande Millennium and I went there instead. Not good for my diet, but their almond croissants are very good. I had a big pot of tea and their 2 last almond  croissants. I was lucky, there must have been some misunderstanding, I asked for a chocolate/ walnut cake. But I was talking about diet with the Waitress she must have thought I didn't want any cake. Good, less calories and I could walk back home without any agony. And far less calories than if I had spend the weekend in some bar drinking beer.
Well, I will Hopefully be able to fall asleep early tonight so I'm full of vim tomorrow when I take off to Sophia Muay Thai Gym. Not for a training session, we will go to see the American girl's fight in the afternoon. So hang on, this might be fun!
