  Wednesday 12th of August 2026 and I am in the reception waiting when my car arrives. I cannot see the car and I call the driver. A guy steps inside when I am calling and it is the driver, he has parked around the corner so I cannot see the car. We pack my luggage in the car and we leave for Suvarnabhumi International about 20 minutes before scheduled time. GRAB had sent a big Ford truck so there was plenty space in the back. A comfy car, except for the “CLIMBING” in to the car as it is quite high.  GRAB is here to pick me up
Almost require a ladder to get in to the car. Reaching Suvarnabhumi International and I get out at Gate 1 30 - 40 minutes after having left my room. I went to the check-in and it looked to be very crowded. Luckily enough it just looked crowded, the security check is just next to the check-in. There was a crew, all dressed in black in line to pass the security. There were several empty check-in desks and I was checked-in in a jiff. Security and immigration did not take much longer and I took the escalator down to the lounge. The lounge was full, but I managed to find a small table. Nothing to do but to stare out over the lounge. I am used to go to bed around 8 o'clock in the evening and I was soon dead tired.

A soda water and I check out what food they have to offer. Nothing much exciting, but there was some chicken in lemon sauce. This was very good, not much sauce so the rice was kind of dry. I  was scraping the bottom of the trying to get as much sauce as possible.
Time is turning very slow, boarding starts at 00:40 so I have hours to kill. I kill sometimes moving over to the departure screen, but flight TG 950 to Copenhagen is still not on the departure list. I get an e-mail from Thai Airways, departure gate is changed to C8, good, no need to go by train to the new terminal.  The lounge is getting empty

Thursday 13th of August 2026 and I leave the lounge just after midnight, the boredom was killing me. Did not take long to walk to Gate 8C, way quicker than expected and not much time was killed.
I have to wait for almost one hour before we start boarding and it was nice to finally get in to my seat. Can’t wait for take-off so I can go to sleep. They come to ask me for drinks and food and I tell them that I only need a bottle of water and some extra pillows. She brought one pillow and I asked another in the crew and I got another pillow. Now I have 3 pillows and this should be enough. Boarding completed and we taxi to the run way and off we go.  Gate C8

FASTEN SEAT BELTS light turned off and I turn my seat in to a bed. There is a tooth brush in  the vanity kit and I go to brush my teeth
It was comfy, but not all that easy to fall asleep. I woke up two times (at least) with cramp in my legs. But I managed to get back to sleep again and I woke up two hours before arrival to Copenhagen. They will start serving breakfast two hours before arrival, but I got two cups of Earl Grey tea before they started to serve breakfast.  Breakfast
The breakfast was OK, too much sugar but it was OK. It was way better on Flydubai with the cheese omelette. I killed the last hour watching the flight map in front of me. Approaching Copenhagen International Airport, Kastrup and we make a loop over Malmö, Skåne and I could see the bridge between Denmark and Sweden. We landed in Copenhagen and it was a wee bit to trot to reach the immigration. And I was lucky today, no line to immigration and I was through in a second. And they have brand new automatic gates, just to scan the passport. They are rebuilding Kastrup and it was a wee bit of trotting to reach the luggage claim. Taking a seat waiting for my luggage to get on the belt and I have to wait for a couple of minutes. I have time to help one old lady to get her eSim in order. I refill my sim card and I buy a train ticket from the airport to Malmö. Managing to end up on the wrong track. There are two tracks to choose from, track #1 to Sweden. I have taken the train so many times, but I still manage to get down on track #2. Back up in the terminal and I see that they are doing some work at the entrance to track #1, most likely the reason for me missing the exit to track #1. There are two other passengers that have arrived with Singapore airlines trying to get to the train. I show them the elevator and we take the elevator to track #1.  On the train to Sweden

Hertz office is located very convenient in Malmö, just to get off the train. Take the elevator and walk 50 meters. I was earlier than expected and I had to wait a little before I got my car. First stop is to by some refreshments and a can of snus. The Vape shop do not open until 10 o'clock so I am really not in any hurry. I have ordered 10 bottles of e-juice. So, the delay at Hertz was OK and I drove very slow to the petrol station to get my refreshments  Refreshment and snus
Waiting for 10 to 15 minutes before the vape shop opened. I spent an hour in the shop, they are not allowed to sell juice with nicotine in Sweden. So, I had to buy juice and nicotine shots and mix myself sitting in a sofa in the shop. I will stop in Rydebäck on my way to my rented cottage. I will buy Wagyu beef for the BBQ. And Billströms Fisk och Köttbutik in Rydebäck is the only shop where I found Wagyu beef. They have to order the Wagyu and I can pick it up tomorrow. They will pack the meet in rosemary so I  hope this will be enough to give it a hint of rosemary.
They had a salmon sandwich layer cake and it looked so good and I asked for a plate. “Add 200 gr smoked salmon” I went outside with my food and they brought Earl Grey tea and I enjoyed my food before continuing north towards my rented cottage.  Billströms Fisk och Köttbutik in Rydebäck

 Things for the BBQ
Stopping at my brother to pick up some stuff that I have bought online. They will come to the cottage in the evening for BBQ. So, I need to go to buy sausages for the BBQ before going to my rented cottage. It was not very easy to find the cottage as there was no house numbers. But I asked for directions and it was the house I had been at a couple of minutes before. The cottage was OK, a bed room and a kitchen, all I need. Living room and there was a wooden platform outside with some furniture’s. And a grill, so there will be BBQ every day. I prepared everything and I fired up the BBQ and now I just wait for my brother and his family so we can get some BBQ  My rented cottage

The food was good, sausages only, but I will pick up the wagyu beef tomorrow and it will be BBQ tomorrow evening again. I was in bed at 8 o'clock and I am excited to go have a look for birds tomorrow. But first it will be BBQ for breakfast, you just need to click HERE to find out if I see any birds tomorrow.
