  Friday 15th of August 2025 and waking up at 4 o'clock. Well, I had been awake since 3 o'clock and it was impossible to fall asleep again. I had a cup of tea and was back in bed for a 30 minutes’  power nap.
Having my breakfast, the last of my cheese and a cup of tea. I threw the garbage, finished the  dishes and brought out my luggage in to the car.
Leaving my cottage quarter past 8 or something like that. Gorgeous weather and I wish I could stay a couple of more days to have a look for birds. The flight was nothing I was looking forward to, 10 hours and 30 minutes of being uncomfortable.  Heading towards south
Reaching Malmö and I fill up the car with petrol before returning the rented car. It is the same elevator from the parking level in the parking house going down to the train platform and the train to Kastrup, Copenhagen International Airport. I have to take to 2 minutes’ walk to the rented car office to return my key on the first floor, but it is very convenient. Reaching the platform and I already have the ticket for the ride to Kastrup, Copenhagen International Airport on the app. So, it was just to get on the train when the train arrived after a few minutes of waiting.  Getting off the train in Copenhagen and I sit down for 10 minutes or so the enjoy the gorgeous weather sitting on a bench overlooking the tracks. Check in was open when I reached the check-in counter and it was quite quick to check-in. I am in the “fast track” so I expect to be in the lounge in a couple of minutes. There were three lanes through security, one fast track and two for “monkey class”. Fast track and I could as well have been in one of the other two lanes. It was a very slow progress and to pick up your bags after the x-ray was a very bad experience. People were climbing over each other to get to their bags. And coming out of the security and they had you to trot what felt like kilometre just to have you walking through the tax-free shop. If I need something from the tax-free shop, yes, then I go to the tax-free shop. But now you are forced through the tax-free ship with all your carry-on fighting your way through with all the other passengers and their carry-on. SAS have left Star Alliance and I was not welcome to enter the SAS lounge. They told me that I had to go to the Eventyr Lodge after the immigration. Passing the immigration and it was a lot of trotting to the Eventyr Lodge. At least I am walking towards the gate and this is a distance already covered when will leave the lounge for the gate. So, I was not really bothered, but I made a mental note, I will request SPECIAL ASSISTANCE next time arriving or flying from the crap airport Kastrup.  Eventyr Lodge

 Taking the elevator to the lounge level and I see a long queue for the lounge. I thought “duck it” and I walk right in. Passing the reception and the girl help someone with what looks to connect the phone to the internet. The lounge looked like a mess hall and I did not like it. I could not find any desk where I could sit down with my laptop. So this was for sure a down grade from the SAS lounge that I have grown to like during the years. But today, I mostly skip the lounges to go sit at the gate to wait. Leaving the lounge walking towards the end of the C gates. One couple had left at the same time as me, they spoke Thai and they took the opposite direction. Strange I thought, but I double checked the departures on the monitors. And yes, there is not many monitors so I trotted in as it will turn out, the wrong direction before I found a monitor. Of course, after 20 years the Thai Airways is no longer departing from the C gates, departure gate E 129. I have never heard of the E gates before and it turns out that they have built new gates. Of course, in the opposite direction and I had to walk all the way back to the immigration.  Endless walking
I found the sign for the E gates back at the immigration, one level up with the escalator and new directions towards the E gates. Of course, at the far end of the airport and endless walking to reach the gates. Huffin' and puffin' with my carry on and I can't say that I was in any especially good mood making my way as far to the east you can get in the terminal. Finally, reaching gate E 129 and there were long lines of people waiting to board. And no lane for business, a disappointment and I took a seat and I was the last to board flight TG 951 from Copenhagen to Suvarnabhumi International in Bangkok.   Boarding flight TG 951

Finding my seat and I am soon enjoying a bottle of water waiting for us to be pulled out from the jet bridge. One of the Stewardesses come to ask what I want to eat. I tell her that I am on diet, so nothing please. She suggested cheese and I told her that cheese sounded perfect, and keep the tea coming. She asked if I wanted breakfast, and I wanted the omelette if they could remove the mushroom. She promised to remove the mushroom. Now, there was no need for any interaction until breakfast tomorrow morning. Well, of course, I needed to ask for tea every now and then. Otherwise. nothing to disturb me in my seat. Saturday 16th of August 2025 and they start with the breakfast around 4 o'clock, two hours to go. There had not been much sleeping during the night, terrible flight time, departure 14 thirty arriving at 6 o'clock in the morning. That is one o'clock in the morning Copenhagen time.
So, unless you have sleeping pills it is impossible to sleep. The Stewardess came t my seat to inform me that the mushrooms was baked in to the omelette and impossible to remove. She gave me the menu and I choose crepes, and of course tea. Crepes and all the, well, I will have to go for my daily sessions with ปีศาจแดง ก.กุมานนท์, The Red Devil at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym ASAP as I am growing out of my trousers. The breakfast was good and I relaxed in my seat waiting for touch down in Bangkok.  Daylight is breaking over Bangkok
I was lucky, arriving the gate D7 so it was just a few meters to walk to reach the immigration. I aimed for the Thai passport lane, priority lane for business class passengers. Approaching and the girl told me that I could use this lane. - How do you know I travel in Biz? - Elderly passengers can use this lane! - What the duck? 
My bag was the first to come on the belt and I went through custom and to the AOT desk outside the custom. I had paid for the car while waiting for my luggage, so we just made a stop on the way to the car, well, three stops. ATM, AIS for a new eSim and the 7 Eleven for some milk for my tea when I am back home.  Putting my luggage in the car

No bird watching for a week or two as I sent my camera to Canon for cleaning. The camera and lens are full of dust and it needs a good scrub. So, no bird watching until they return my camera, and it is the rainy season as well. I will have to kill time with ปีศาจแดง ก.กุมานนท์, The Red Devil at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym.
