Saturday 14th of July 2018 and I woke up around 4 o'clock. But I didn't see any more wildlife before 7 o'clock when I left the hide to go have my breakfast back at the Wild Brown Bear's lodge. It was yet another gorgeous morning and it was soon getting very hot in the hide.
I walk back to the lodge and I stopped to have a look for the Common Redshank that I had seen yesterday when we walked to the hide. But the only bird I saw was a juvenile White Wagtail.
I had an excellent breakfast and I went to look for birds in the area around the lodge. Of course, no luck, well, I spotted the juvenile White Wagtail again and I managed to make a recording of a Barn Swallow sitting in top of a tree. I went to the place where I had seen the Redshanks yesterday, I got a picture of a White Wagtail, no sign of any Redshanks.
I walked back to the lodge for dinner and I passed the bird hide. They have a bird hide close to the lodge, maybe 100 meters to go. They have told me that there were wood peckers and many more birds. I don't know, maybe it is too hot for the birds, I didn't see any birds, but I could hear the Woodpeckers.
Barn Swallow sitting in a tree singing or calling. I didn't see the bird until it flew away so I could never take any picture

I sit in hide #11
Excellent breakfast this morning and the dinner was also very good. And as it is the second day we were chatting on the terrace after dinner. First day and I shut the duck up, but now it was like we all knew each others and we were discussing wildlife.
And at 5 o'clock it was time to walk to the bear hides. I had asked for permission to leave at 16 thirty as I wanted to walk alone to keep an eye out for birds during the walk to the hides. And I will be in hide #11 today. And as I was escorted to the hide yesterday I know the routines and I can get to the hide by myself.
It is a beautiful walk but I never saw any birds. I found my way to hide #11 and I entered the small hide, looking the same as the hide yesterday.

A bear is coming
I had been in the hide for a while when I saw a bear coming up from the side behind the hide. I took a few pictures, but then I changed my mind and I started to take a video instead. The bear came out in front of the hide and I was making video until the bear disappeared.
I also took the opportunity to take pictures of the gulls flying around the brown bear.

I spotted two different gulls, well, actually 3 different gulls, Common, European Herring and the Black-headed Gull. And as we're in Finland we have internet coverage and I can study a little bit about the gulls. I have never known anything about gulls or how to see the difference between them. So this was interesting reading.
It was very hot in the hide but it cooled down a little bit when the sun disappeared behind the trees. I went to bed around 10 o'clock as there was no bears around and the gulls disappeared as well. So there wasn't really not much to look at.

If you cannot reach their channel, or see some of their videos, it is because of the censorship. China!!?? NO NO, it is Sweden 2018!!
