  Monday 8th of August 2016 and we left the transportation desk and we walked to the car and we were soon on our way towards the Sydney Boulevard Hotel. The traffic was light and we made it  to the hotel in around 20 minutes.
I got out of the car and I went to check-in. The Sydney  Boulevard Hotel is located just next to the Hyde Park and the Botanical Garden and if I have the time I will go for some birding there.
But first some food and then I will continue to search for a harness and the CapturePro camera clip. I will also go to look for a knife/ camping tool and as I'm in Australia I'm pretty sure it won’t be any problem to find that in one of all the “outback” stores in the country. I left the hotel starting to walk the William Street towards Darling Harbours and I started with today's list right on. • Find something to eat • Buy camera gear • Camping knife I passed a Sushi place and I went inside. They had a fridge with sushi and I asked for avocado and salmon. But the sushi was 10 cm long instead of sliced. So I asked for the menu. I ordered an avocado & salmon salad and something teriyaki. And it was good, very good, and healthy on top of that. I asked about the opening hours because I will be back for more health food. • Find something to eat 
• Buy camera gear • Camping knife One item down and I continued towards Darling Harbour to see if I could complete the list of things to do and buy here in Sydney. I continued down William Street towards the Hyde Park. I passed the Cook and Phillip Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre and there were plenty Ibis eating worms in the park. I passed through the Hyde Park and I was soon in the shopping district. I looked around for a camera shop.     I find a camping shop

I had found a cutlery camping set and an USA made knife so from now on I'm ready to take on any adventure I might run in to in the future. If I can only remember to pack it in my bag. I never  bought any CapturePro clip for my camera. But  I bought a BlackRapid RS-7 Curve Camera Strap
I stopped at Hyde Park and I changed my old Canon strap for my new BlackRapid RS-7 Curve Camera Strap. And after 100 meters or so when I got used to the new camera strap it was very comfortable. No more heavy camera hanging around my neck and I'm looking forward to the Blue Mountain tour tomorrow to test me new strap in the field. I stopped at Metro, a Supermarket around the corner from my hotel. I  bought smoked salmon, milk and some diet drinks. I also made a mental note on where to buy my “hangover pack” if it will ever turn out to be necessary. It will  hopefully not be necessary.
Tomorrow and as it will be a full day going to explore the Blue Mountain I have to set my alarm to go off at 5 o'clock. Nothing I'm looking forward to. I went to bed at 10 o'clock and I was soon asleep after a long day with a very early morning. And if you want to see how the Blue Mountain turns out you just have to click HERE!
